Spine surgery should be done as a last resort. I too had slip disc 20 years back. Go for physiotherapy sittings or acupuncture treatment. You will be free from the pain and have movement. Then go for any Ayurveda panchkarma centre and have panchkarma treatment done for strengthening the muscles and nerves. Regular yoga and exercise will keep you fit.

there is another option.... have you tried epidural injections? It is a procedure where a pain managment doctor will inject a mixture of lidocaine and a steroid around the inflamed nerve and can help reduce the pain you are feeling. Look and see if there are any interventional pain doctors in your area. Also try a physical therapist for stretching and strengthing exercises.

Yes It can be cured Without Operation.
Allopathy practitioners find surgery as the only way to cure it but Acupressure/Acupuncture/Indian Yoga can cure it Fully.
Where do you reside? Find some good Alternate therapy centre. I am sure you will be cured definitely without operation. Absolutely No doubt about it.

Do meditation in the morning and evening for half an hour under the guidance of a spiritual teacher who not only gets your 'self' realized but also does not charge you anything for teaching the (meditation) techniques.

chiropractors specialize in the spine. You should definitely see a chiropractor and get an evaluation. Many times chiropractors have been able to prevent surgery for their patients.

I've enclosed a link were you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area.
