Did you tell her what a traitor she is? I certainly did. I think the vets from the Vietnam War, and even the Iraq/Afghanistan War needed to be represented, and I made sure that they were.

To respond to "dickbosh"....... I have never heard one person who had served in 'Nam, defend Jane Fonda. Perhaps you did serve there, perhaps you didn't, I don't know. But I do know that the soldiers who served there have no love for Jane Fonda, they resent her, and consider her a traitor, as do I.

Yup, and here's my response:

"To respect our military, our country, our flag, and our veterans. I was taught that there is NO GREATER country than the US of A, and that our service members were the finest people in the country because they were willing to die for me, my family, my rights, and my beliefs."

I call he Hanoi Jane, she is not worthy of the Fonda. She is more than a traitor to Vietnam vets, she is a traitor to all the freedoms she has in America that let her spew her hateful words, and she was not imprisoned or deported, as would have happened if she was a North Vietnamese and said those things about North Vietnam. Typical ignorant Liberal of the 1960s. Keep up the fight.

So her Daddy was a famous film producer.

She went to North Vietnam (during the war) supported the enemies of her country.

Called U.S. Pilots child-killers on NVA propaganda T.V.

Any other American Citizen would have been arrested for being a Traitor to their country and shot.

Not Jane Fonda though.

And dont forget another anti-American Sally Fields who attacked Viet-nam vets as baby-killing psyco's.

The pentagon invents the Gulf of Tonkin LIE.

Johnson his “We are not bombing a nutural country LIE.

Westmorland his “ tunnel lights” and “ body count” LIES.

Im a Vietnam veteran.
I walked point at times in 1969 with the 2-60, 9th Inf Div. Every step took an effort to repluse a mental sensation. When you see some 20-25 booby traps explode it causes anxiety. Yes there were booby traps in the Mekong Delta. At age 19, I thought the earth could fall from its axis if they all exploded at once. I thought I was brave to walk mostly every day, through these so called by the Vietnemese, “land of death.” (TU-DIA)
But I really knew what BRAVE really meant when I went up against,… I guess a 1000 of them!

I was walking in the middle when we turned to the left on that street. There they were, dressed in line, shiney helmets and see thru shields, batons their weapon. But I continued with my 1000 anti-war protester friends. It was Miami, the Demo National Convention in 1972, And point man in Nam was nothing…compared to this! Whew! The adrelin here! And, it wasn’t so much the soon to be batoning that made this so scarry, it was more the thoughs of, ‘Is my Dad, my family, going to be disappointed in me’. ‘Can I go to prison over this’. ‘Im I wrong to fight my countrys policys.’ That was the scarriest thought…’Im I wrong!’
I was alone, a minorty, an outcast, the dog now. You never felt that in Nam.
I had to think independent and BRAVE. Its hard when your unsure and alone.

Most of us don’t know our degree of BRAVERY. I saw on TV a terribly burned mother cat that saved 8 of her littre from a burning building. Mothers have that degree.

THE BRAVEST LITTLE GIRL
She had a big house, and a big Daddy. A big bank account and career. She had a future. And she gave that up…to fight her countrys policys, alone!
And fight like hell she did! And she was just a little girl, by herself. My god the Courage.

Would you do what she did? Give up all, to fight the powerful, …? No. Like me, you don’t trust your smarts, too comfortable, and uh, not brave enough.too afraid so don’t even think about it!

You may say
She loved peace.
