Thats an easy one, sickness makes money for both the government and the drug industry. If all people stopped smoking and drinking and were healthier as a result billions of dollars in pharma drugs would be lost along with thousands of jobs. All the govt officials are invested in big pharma because it makes good returns, because every1 is getting sick!
Disease prevention and cure make very little money what makes the money is having many chronically ill people. Ask your neighbours i bet you'll find at least 1 in 5 are chronically sick with some degenerative disease.
