Hi amy dont worry to much hun, the human body does a great job and adapting to what ever you want to throw at it.

Most people think that in order to lose weight you have to stop eating, but thats not the case. If you stop eating your body thinks that you are fasting and starts to store every little thing that you eat as fat. S

So i would suggest eating 5 small meals a day for starter,
Plus i dont know what kind of work out that you are doing either its weight training or cardio or both but try to stay away from the eliptcal maching and stick with the bike or treadmill or just plain old running.

Try this, if you go on the treadmill, after your warm up run for 45 seconds normally then run as fast as you can for 15 seconds then back to normal running for 45 seconds and all out running for 15 seconds and just keep doing that for 15 mins and youll see the pounds fall off. try it..

btw also alittle weight training and adding some lean muscle also burns fat. Youre doing fine. Keep your body guessing. every one in a while change your routine good luck

if you were eating too little then you lost water weight and muscle and slowed down metabolism.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you're exercising daily, you are turning your fat into muscle, which weighs twice as much. You need to combine using weights with cardio exercise (believe it or not but using weights can actually help you to lose weight!). Make sure you're drinking lots of water, eating lots of fruit and vegetables, and perhaps try to cut down a little on your carbs. Do NOT cut them out altogether.

It's frustrating but you'll get there. Also bear in mind that your body has its own natural weight...disregard what is the "ideal" weight, as everyone's body shape etc are different.

I would suggest working out for about an hour now instead of a half hour. Switch up your work out. If you are doing cardio add a little yoga or light weight lifting. Sounds like your body just adjusted to what you were doing. Switching it up again will hopefully start to push your body to loose those extra pounds.
