Or as far as that goes, does her being senator go against her religion.

It just accured to me. They are part of that Southern Baptist religion that holds the wife to be the servant of the husband. If they do not agree, and they obviously do not, they should leave the religion and it should make the headlines. Or is religion there just to say you have it?

I didn't think she was Southern Baptist, and I looked it up, and according to this page:
http://www.adherents.com/adh_congress.html
she is Methodist.

Methodists ordain women pastors. So leading the public would not go against her religion.

So, what? ypou think she should be barefoot and pregnant and in the kitchen? What't the point in havinganneducation, and realizing that you are smarter than most men around you, if you don't use it. She would make a good president, despite thefact that all you southerners think a womans place is in the house, not the senate,

Ditto on Methodist. She is not a Southern Baptist. There is some debate about whether or not Bill is.

the southern baptists do not teach that women are to be their husband's servant. the Bible does clearly teach that women are to be obedient to their husbands. But it also commands the husband to put his wife's needs before his.

I kinda doubt that she has 'served' her husband in about 15 years. But it certainly does not go against her true religion, the worship of money and power!!

I doubt very much that she cares. It appears that her politics are much more important than her religion -- which is appropriate, since with politics you can actually do things.

NO, MOST EVANGELICAL CHURCHES DO NOT AGREE WITH YOUR IDEA. WOMEN ARE FREE TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT AS LONG AS THEY DON'T HARM SOMEONE. I MEAN I'M A CHRISTIAN MALE AND WILL GLADLY VOTE FOR HER. I DON'T MIND IF SHE'S A WOMAN. YOU STILL LIVE IN STONE AGE.
