I love history. My parents had a huge book about the American Civil War that had many photos of soldiers in it from that time period. There is one photo of Confederate soldiers that has this one man who is extraordinarily handsome, and he is looking directly into the camera. He bears a striking resemblance to the actor Bruce Boxleitner (from the old TV series "Scarecrow and Mrs. King"). I have always been fascinated with that picture and I used to wish I could travel through time to meet not only this man, but the other soldiers in that photo, if only to gain an understanding of what they were going through that day. The photo was taken just before the first Battle of Bull Run, in which many of these soldiers were killed.
I think it's normal to fantasize about the pharoah, and considering your Egyptian heritage, I would be totally fascinated to learn all I could if I were in your shoes. I would just not read any spiritual connection into this, but instead would consider that you have been given the gift of a deep appreciation for your own history and I would do all you could to learn as much as you possibly can. Too many people are apathetic about history and don't fully understand and appreciate the lives and contributions of those who lived before us. I wish you all the best in following your family tree. May you be blessed in your research.

Perhaps it's because Ankhnaton is often viewed as the link between the old Egyptian religion of many gods and the modern thinking religions that suppose only one god. He did try to impose a single god view on Egypt after all, and in this respect he is seen by many Christians as a very important person in the evolution of their own religion.
Considering the history of Egypt, he was without doubt an extraordinary thinker and visionary - perhaps it's these character traits you're drawn to?
FYI - I believe that each of the Egyptian gods was worshipped locally to the exclusion of others, making each god 'the one god' in a way. Ankhnaton simply took one of these gods and went national with them. Here's a piece of fun for you - go figure which of the ancient gods are still worshipped by the three major religions - you might be surprised by the answers.

If I had never had a similar experience I would not take your question seriously. One day while visiting the old Kimble art museum I was standing close to a part of an ancient statue that had been an ancient god of some group of people. I felt a strange presence and was surprised when I turned around to find I was close to the statue (or the remains of it anyway much of the original was missing)
That said I did not choose to worship that statue or stay near it long.

Your question can't be too serious, when you are asking Sirius to answer you. He went behind the veil you know and we haven't heard from him since.
There are those who believe in reincarnation that would say that you may have lived in Epypt in another life and that is why you are attractive to it and him. I don't go along with that. It may be that you saw a movie, or something long ago and it left a memory in your mind that draws you to that area or that person.

I think its a sign that he's calling you from Sirius (A.K.A. Alpha Canis Majoris)... It's the brightest star in the sky, so seems like an obvious choice for a Pharoh to head off to after he died.

Perhaps you could go to a psychic/necromancer and ask him/her to speak to him for you. You also get hypnotists who specialise in past life rememberance...maybe they can help you.
