Right now my mom is gong through some financial troubles and I need some money for clothes and things. We aren't poor she is just on a super tight budget because she has too many property's (she is a Realtor) that she renovated and most of the tenants didn't pay the rent and her bills are like 20k or more a month and I was wondering where I can get a good paying job for a 14 year old? I don't want a dumb paper route or be a kid landscaper I've done each and people rip you off too much ans also the Vegas summers are hella killer, I want a steady after school/summer job. I need the money also to get what i need and to get something out of the pawn shop. I've been to a Roberto's (locals should know) and I've heard that they will hire me and im gonna try that if I cant get any answer here. I desperately need money for clothes too. Some how I lose cloths. Internet jobs I've looked around but you have to be freaken 18+ and have a bank account and me and my mom haven't had time to make one.

If you are only 14 companies cannot hire you by law why don't you try mowing lawns or if you know a friend or family member of one of your friends that owns their own business see if they will let you be a helper or you can start your own business of doing chores for people like pool cleaning taking care of their pets while they are on vacation, watering their yards, mowing, walking dogs painting fences all you have to do is ride your bike around the neighborhood and see what people need such as the fence painting, make you up a flyer on your computer then go make copies and pass them out or go to a busy parking lot and put them on windshields. older people usually need help with these things and want to fix their place up for the summer heat-- just some ideas Good luck to you you could call your business "CHORES UNLIMITED" lol I just thought of another one you could go to your local ball field and work the consession stands

Easy here, fella! Calm down. You become stronger from tough times, rather than good! It is admirable that you want to help your household by purchasing your own clothes, and that you've already been to Roberto's. Young men and women your age can definitely get jobs as busboys or girls.
Usually you get a small wage, supplemented by tips that are split among workers. Don't go to the fast food places, though. Set your sights higher. Go to the country clubs, the places where people are more generous, usually kinder, and LOVE seeing a young person trying to become a contributing member of society. Kudos to your mom for raising a son who wants to pitch in! BUT....education comes first! Got that?? Keep your head in the books. BE A SOMEBODY, not an EVERYBODY.

Good to see a young person wanting to help out. How about trying to find a nice restaurant that would hire you to wash dishes? Also, check out the local job agencies and see if they have any companies that need help for the summer. If you try hard enough there is bound to be something come available. Now get going and good luck!

Probably at a grocery store bagging groceries or at a pool or something similar. That's what I did when I was 14.
