it depends. on your skin type, skin color, immune system, how well you took care of the piercing initially, etc.
i had a friend who still has a really terrible scar on her lip, but mine healed in about a month. it really depends on the person.
the absolute best thing you can do is take care of it!! proper aftercare is soo important. i can't emphasize it enough.

After you take your piercing out the hole starts to close immediately even if it is completely healed. It can take some time to fully close though.

It will close up, it will just take a bit longer than say your tongue would to close up. The hole will gradually shrink and shrink until finally it closes up with scar tissue. You'll probably have a light dot where the hole was, but this will eventually fade with time.

It will close up, but it will take longer than your ear hole will close up. If it doesn't in about a month, see a doctor on how to close it up faster

it will eventually close up...how long it takes will vary from person to person, & also depend on how long u had the piercing...it should only leave a very tiny scar...
