It's the ultimate in man's inhumanity against their fellow man.....state-sponsored high volume extermination of European Jewry. At its peak, the death camps topped out at 26,000 deaths per day in the summer of 1944.

The modern term of "holocaust" is applied to Hitler's European rampage. Over ten million people, 70% of them Jewish (the others being Polish, POWS etc.), were rounded up, arrested and deported to prison camps.

At the camps, they were subjected to forced-labour under gruelling conditions. The Camp "Commandants" were hand-picked by German officials, and were usually SS officers (the meanest bunch around). They were notorious for cruelty, savagery and mindless executions (they enjoyed sniping prisoners from balconies). There was an infamous Nazi woman who took the skin off of dead prisoners and made them into lamp shades.

Human experimentation, beatings, starvation and murder were rampant in the Concentration Camps.

And to top it all of, after you had become too weak to work, you were gassed. Repeat that almost eleven million times, and you'll have the holocaust.

I'm suprised you've never heard of this. Seriously, why do people ignore the past? Why do people forget? It's been less than 62 years, and already it is fading into distant memory...

The Holocaust (from the Greek holókauston from olon "completely" and kauston "burnt"), also known as Ha-Shoah (Hebrew: השואה), Khurbn (Yiddish: חורבן or Halokaust, האלאקאוסט), is the term generally used to describe the killing of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, as part of a program of deliberate extermination planned and executed by the National Socialist regime in Germany led by Adolf Hitler.

There have been several. The most famous is the Nazi Holocaust in 1930s and 40s Germany. The Nazis were a socialist party in Germany led by Adolph Hitler. They systematically executed over 6 million Jews.

Today, the President of Iran lies to his people and says that this never really happened. Also, many Muslims repeat this lie but it is absolutely the truth. 6 million Jews were gassed and their corpses burned in ovens.

Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.

the Holocaust is another name for Adolph Hitlers plan for the extermination of the Jewish people world wide, he called it "the final solution". nearly 7,000,000 Jews where killed in gas chambers. many wher tortured to death in so called pointless scientific experiments and many where just gunned down in the streets. there are many reminders of the Holocaust, many still living. it took place mainly from about 1936-1945, Hitler rose to power in Germany and in 1933 took over the government, then slowly started rounding up his undesirables, ones he blamed for Germanys problems after WWI. there are many other reminders , such as the concentration camps in which they where sent to be killed, called death camps by those who occupied them.
