Well, I'm 17 and I've never actually asked anyone out, people have always just come to me instead. I'm pretty easily convinced but of course I can't say the same for everyone else.
So, here's the story: I met this new guy at my school, and he's a little bit younger than me but I think he does like me at least as a friend. We talk sometimes friendly-like and he smiles at me a lot.
The day I met him though, I had to make a decision to drop out of school and get my GED. That day I had been taking the pre-test, and the guy saw me and asked about it, so I told him. So today I went to register for the series of tests, and then there he is at the office registering for the very same thing. I thought, "Huh, that's weird!" but I'm kind of happy about it because then I'll get to see him again.
So during the tests I assume we will have at least a couple breaks in between during which we can talk quietly or whatever. Should I ask him out then? And if so, how? I wanna subtle because I'm shy...

That kind of attention from a girl is almost always flattering. Just the fact that you asked him will be a major factor.
The only time you have to worry is if he is very arrogant, which should be obvious.

Just ask him out for something light--coffee, ice cream, lunch or even a walk. And start thinking of what you're going to do the next time you ask him out. You don't have to knock him off his feet--just get under his skin.

well! girl, u don't need to b shy. All u is to blieve in yr self , and have self motivation don't forget to trust yourself . If u realy love the guy go and tell him how u feel about him, as we guys are like we don't wanna feel empty inside and we loose hope easely, so i urge u to go and tell the guy b4 it gets too late, so harry up!

Just ask him. The worse that could happen is that he says he is seeing someone else. No big deal. Tell him to keep you in mind if he ever becomes available again!!

if i was u i would do what all good people do i would probably paint something on his car and then when he saw it and got mad and was screaming who did this u come up to him with the paint brush and put paint on his shirt and say me and then kiss him this is usually a winner booooooooyyyyyyyyaaaahhh
