Use fish oil capsules daily. This helps many people with joint pain.
Also there's a very good product that combines many different natural supplements for joint pain. It's called "move free advanced" it's more powerful than any supplement I have seen. Doctors are starting to use this as treatment for their patients. I've enclosed a link where you can read about it.

I have a SI joint problem (hip) so they say - had one injection which didnt work. So decided to take something - anything to try to get the pain to go away! I had a bottle of Move Free Advanced so started to take it - it seemed to help but have to do it in increments. 6 a day for 2 weeks then 3 a day - seems like a lot but my doctor wont let me take REAL drugs any more - so if it works so be it! I have to buy more now - so trying to find a cheaper bottle - kind of expensive at 6 a day! Hope it helps me more cause dont know what else will!
Oh yes my bottle has 1500mg glucosamine, 1500mg MSN, 200mg Chondrotin, 250mg Uniflex and 3.3 mg Joint fluid

With computers being used in all walks of life, we are likely to have tendinitis in our fingers and wrists, others can have lateral epicondylitis or tennis elbow if their work involves any sort of lifting.
The good news is today there are supplements and therapies to treat the pain. Before you begin any treatment for your joint pain, better consult a doctor to decide the nature of joint pain you have and find out the various healing options.

LISTEN TO ME. Please. I am only adamant about this because I'm 39 years old and have suffered pain for several of my adult life (different from yours, but listen).
Do your research on MSM. It's a supplement. The long name is methylsulfonylmethane. I found amazing things about it. I get it at Whole Foods in NJ, but you can find it at any vitamin or health foods store. You can't overdose on it as you literally "pee it out" in 12 hours, it's just a form of sulfur.
What I found is that it aids in pain relief immensely, helps patients heal quicker after surgery, and get this - side effects are healthier hair and nails. I got out the hospital March 25th after MAJOR surgery and until this day, I haven't so much as taken a Tylenol for pain. NOTHING. I hadn't even noticed until a few weeks ago (since I was on disability and sitting in front of my pc most of the day) that even my beginning signs of carpal tunnel have completely ceased.
I take 3000 mg a day. MSM was used for people with tennis elbow, knee problems, etc. I have found the pain relief phenomenal.
Please, do your research and look into it.

HERE'S AN EXCELLENT STRETCH FOR SHIN SPLINTS, which is what you probably have: stretch your calves by standing on a step (like you're going up the stairs) with your heels hanging off the edge. push your heels down as far as you can for as long as you can. it feels so great afterwards. this is a wonderful stretch, so try to work it into your warmup and cooldown before and after you work out. SIMPLE DEFINITION: Your calf muscle gets tight and pulls on the top and bottom of your shin bone, and since bones don't bend, the pressure causes pain. The pain can become severe if you don't stretch your calf muscle regularly.

You can use glucosimine, and condroitin. Both lubricate the joints, works well for people with arthritis, and degenerative disc disease.
