She's shy and i'm shy so its kind of a problem, but she's always smiling at me, saying hi, and going out of her way to talk to me. How can I tell if she likes me more than a friend?

Are you generally a nice guy who would be a good guy friend? Does she say 'Hi' to other people as well, or are you someone that she actually talks to when she genrally doesn't talk to other guys? How old are you guys?
It all depends on the situation. I know plenty of nice girls who go out of their way for all guys, and they don't even like him, but I know girls who do the same for one guy and they really like him.
Just depends. (Even if you hate me for saying that.)

If she doesnt have a boyfriend and she smiles at you and being friendly it means she thinks about you in more then friendly way . She is only going to give you the signals though, it's up to you to start it up. She wants to know if you like her , if she foes out of her way to be obvious and you dont pick up on it then she will start doubting it . This is no time to be shy, it's a time to get passed that and make an obvious move that will remove all doubt in her mind. Otherwise she will give up and some other guy without shyness issues will take over. You dont have to be obnoxious or go overboard, just ask if she wants to go out sometime... if she says yes and looks happy at that then you have it made .If she kind of looks out of sorts which I doubt she will then don't take it to heart. She doesnt want you to decide things but maybe she does want you to take the lead . So do it and be happy .

Next time she says, "Hi" ask her an easy question. On Monday, ask her if she had a nice weekend? Just something simple that won't require a big explanation if she is shy. Yes, she likes you or she wouldn't be smiling and saying "hi." How about asking her if she likes Spiderman? If she says yes, then ask her to the movies on Saturday afternoon.

According to your story she probably does like you, and due to the fact that she's shy she is probably expecting YOU to make the first move...So gather your courage and ask her out...but don't go to the movies!!! You won't get any information there...be smooth...and push her...
some tips of girl liking you:
1)most of the times when you look at her- she's looking down
2) when you set up a contact she looks into your eyes or your lips, if its lover...she wants you

o.k there is definitly a possibility that she likes u. Are there any other signs like she looks at u in a special way. Do u like her ? If u do then why don't u talk to her more find out more about her. She'll tell u sonner or later.

Hhhmmm...this is tough because your both too shy....
however it seems like shes been making the first moves and giving you openings....
Next time she starts talking to you....
keep it going...
Then just casually slip in a request for a date....
If she accepts then she likes you....

You'll have to make the move, kiss or tell her, YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE MOVE!!!!!!
If you don't, her interest, if its there, for you will drop to the "just friends" category. And for those with love in that mind, thats the worst ****.

Well, first off, she Definitely Likes you!!
Second, you have to look into her eyes to see if she likes you more than a Friend. You can comunicate with her, just by Reading her Eyes when she Talks to you!!
If you ever get Deep into a Conversation with her, then Ask her if you would like to hook-up sometime, or go-out sometime?!?
OR, if you ever go to a School Dance, then Ask her to go with you!! :D

shyness...........it could be a problem and it couldn't. just build up some courage and go up and talk to her. then, if you feel like she likes you, first become good friends with her. many friendships end up being more than that, and it could happen to you. if you like her, be a great friend to her, and she could see what a great guy you are :)
