My colors were dark purple (plum) color and white. we threw in a little lavender here and there (in bouquets and flower arrangements mostly) to offset the dark color. My bridesmaids wore pearl necklaces and earrings. The flower girl wore her spring Easter dress that was made of chiffon and had a lavender background with plum colored flowers on it.
(tip: I got married 2 weeks before Easter and it was easy to find cheap stuff to use for the wedding such as baskets, spring flowery stuff, etc. Also, do not order a dress too early for the children bec. they grow so fast that when it is time, they may not fit into it.)

I did kind of a mix.
My bridesmaids are in this light pink strapless dress down to the floor. So i had their flowers be white and different shades of pink ranging from light pink to hot pink to give contrast.
The groomsmen i refused to let them suffer through wearing pink, so i have them wearing like a platinum silver vest under their solid black tux.
The table cloths are pink under w/white on top and pink napkins. With the Centerpieces in different shades of pink as well. So the table will have several different shades of pink.
So it's mainly shades of pink and then silver.
I'm getting married this August, so i wanted to do a light color but have some hot pink and dark pinks thrown in just to add contrast because the wedding will be from 6pm till 11pm.
Good luck!

As of now I am doing a teal (like the color of water in some tropical paradise) and sand ( a fancy name for khaki) with accents of white(flowers) we are going to hawaii and we are trying to do a beach theme reception. Plus blue is both of our favorite colors.

That's a tough one....seems like everyone has purple and red...but they are nice colors...
i would go with a really light yellow or blue, they seem very cheery to me!
Maybe you should talk to your future husband and find out what your fav colors are and which one are significant to your relationship

We're using spring colors--sage green, pastel pink and yellow, white. We're using a daisy theme.
My sister is planning to use navy blue and silver.

My colors were burgundy and silver. It was pretty. For favors I wrapped silver hershey kisses in burgundy tulle and tied with silver curling ribbon. Girls wore burgundy gowns with silver rhinestone accent.
