Does your religion say it's ok to live off the fat of the land that was stolen from the natives here first

Question

Sure, your ancestors did it.
Now, you reap the benefit of their crimes.
How does your religion feel about that?
I know you, as individual Americans are ok with it, but does your religion have anything to say?

First off help me understand what belongs to whom? And second of all nothing belongs to anyone, everything belongs to GOD who created the whole entire universe... God is not about religion mankind made religion, I don't knock it, but it helps to have a church to learn and grow in understanding to the spiritual gifts of God so we can learn to apply the truth to be tough the truth that is in the Holy scriptures in the Bible. We don't even belong to ourselves, we were created from dirt, our bodies are a loan. Every race equals to the same thing. Man kind has been very ignorant to understand that skin color has nothing to do with anything, no skin color is any better than mine or yours...Who are we to judge anyone, we are no one to do so, that is not our position or place...

I don't really have a religous affiliation. As a person, I feel that this is very wrong. A whole nation of people was wiped out because they were different and viewed as inferior. The US is trying to make up for the slavery of african americans, but why have the Native americans not gotten their due.

Sure they get no taxes in their casinos, but they mostly still live in horrible land and alot are poor.

Nope, but now that we all speak English and there is a general consensus as to the meaning of "America," and "The Americas" generally, I have no problem with a term that affirms that this population is Native (uppercase) to these lands. You are not a Native American because you were born in this country. In that case, you would only be a native-born American. And "American" is just a shorthand of saying a citizen of the United States of America. You are only Native American if you descend from the indigenous population. Deal with it!

Before us this land sustained 3 million people. Now it sustains about 300 million people, still there is plenty of room for us all. The sins of the past have brought many curses on us. White christians have asked forgiveness of black brothers for the sins of the past. White christians have asked forgiveness of our red brothers for our ancestors wrongs. This we are commanded to do.
I live where Indian casinos are destroying the lives of little old gray haired ladies on SS. I ask you -is this the LEGACY you want to leave behind? Money at the expense of people's lives?

Jesus forgive all. So going on a genocidal rampage is OK so long as you ask for forgiveness when your done. Yet another reason I hate all organized religion.

Edit: Most religious wars make exceptions for when it's alright to kill people. All it takes is one official to say it's fine and people loose all common sense. That's the power of faith for ya, scary stuff.

Edit again: It's funny that Bush is doing the same thing right now and people are reluctant to do anything because he's the official. Welcome to the First United Church of America.

The God that I serve made the land. And he made it so that some could conquer others. That does not mean that we have to be cruel to people. But the past is the past. Our forefathers won, and the American Indians did not win. I could go deeper into why that happened, but it's sufficient to say that it happened because it was supposed to happen.
