people here on yahoo answers have said that swimming can make u grow, is this really true?

E.I-a girl said she knew a girl who grew 3 inches just by swimming

No, it does not. Swimming is a great exercise, but it won't make you grow.
Proper nutrition and SLEEP helps you grow to your maximum height, which is determined by your genetics.
We grow only in our sleep. However, you say you are 16 and still 4'11"----you likely won't grow much more. Maybe an inch or two.

sure it does. how do you clarify blue whales being 80 ft long. or great white sharks 25 ft long. all fish proceed to grow till the day they die. so it in basic terms is sensible the extra time in the water you spend the extra you will strengthen. heck you ought to take watermelons for an occasion there huge and full of water. how else do you think of shaq and garnett and Kobe are so tall. nicely its not from spending time in the water i will inform you. that's why those human beings consume watermelon its an alternate to swimming.
