Hell no! You are sexy. Sounds like you've got curves, not fat.

Heck no! It does not sound like you are fat at all. I wish I was your weight. Put it like this...I am 143 lbs....5"3 1/2' tall...Hispanic/Caucasian...same figure as you. I would be considered to be on the fat end of the scale. 126 is most definately not fat it is healthy. Keep in mind heritage, muscle mass, your BMI, and inches around your waist. Muscle always weighs more than fat. The BMI chart may be inaccurate because of your figure...my doctor told me that when I asked her about it. The best advice I can give you if you are very concerned about this matter is to go by inches or (if your not going for muscle) by pounds. (Do not use the scale if you are doing muscle routines.) If you have hips though you should not worry about it. I have hips and a butt which causes my pants size to be 10 or 11 but I have abs and muscle mass (I don't look like a body builder or like a boy...fyi...just so that you know muscle routines don't make you bulky...just keep it high reps low weight if you don't want bulk.) Concluding, in my own opinion and how you are describing yourself....you would NOT be considered fat at all. Just remember what I told you about all the other aspects that may contribute to the size of your pants. Every person is different so one weight may work for one but not the other. This can also be applied to weight. (Depends on your activity level.) I hope this was of some use to you.

What are your actual measurements? If your waist is less than 32 inches, you are fine. Also you can have your body fat percentage checked, which should not be any more than 30% (for your age).

If you are weraing a size 11/12 in pants, I'd assume it's due to having wider hips bones, which also means you will have a bigger butt and thighs. Lots of shorter women have broader hips, because there is no correlation between the width of your hip bones and height. It's nothing to do with bone size either, you can be small/medium boned with wide hip bones. It's just how much your hips widened during pubery, which is hereditary.

HTH : )

i don't consider that fat at all and it all depends on how tall you are. we all have different shapes and we all have different styles. i have an hourglass figure as well and at times it's difficult to buy clothes but please don't go by what your pants size say. if you feel sexy and attractive the vibe you give off will be of confidence and that itself is attractive if you feel ugly and fat people will perceive you that way. embrace your curves. i'm 4'11" i weigh about 130 wear a size 6 and have 36D breasts and you nkow i use to feel the same way at one point but i'm latina and i'm just built this way and alot of men find me attractive not that this is the point but if you feel comfortable with yourself then go shopping try different styles that work with your body and work with your inner self trust me. Now if you don' tfeel comfortable then work out a bit you know like do some walking, biking, running to help you feel better about yourself and you will feel healther. do don't too much weight lifting just keep it light you are still growing and your bones are still transforming a bit so you don twant to stunt your growth or hurt yourself in the long run. The most important thing is feel good about how you look, work with what you have and do a bit of excersice. Good luck and please please dont let yourself be influenced by the media half of those people are unhealthy and unhappy because of the standards they have to keep up with.

I weigh a lot but look like I weigh 20-25 pounds less than I do. Maybe your problem is you just appear to be heavier than you are, and that's not because you have a heavy weight, it is because you need to exercise. If you exercise and weigh 127 it is different than being 127 lb of lard.

Stephy,
By no means are you anywhere near being fat! Don't let the "Nicole Richies and Paris Hiltons" of the world make you believe you're fat! By the media's standards today, they'd call Marilyn Monroe fat if she were alive today and let me tell you, men LOVED the way that woman looked! Men do like curves! Look at Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce'!
Embrace your size and be happy!!! :)

According to The Health Association of America A healthy woman about 5'3 can healthily weigh anywhere between 104 lbs and 125 lbs. But don't rely on what others think. If you think you are the right weight for that go with what you feel is right. No one can decide who/what you should be. Weight is only important if you don't eat right or don't exercise often. Just take care of your body and you will be beautiful. Weight has little to do with it.

you're about average.

you noe, weight doesn't accurately determine if your body is overweight or not because muscles weights more than fat. and... o yeah. 11-12 pant sizes? if you're 127 pounds and 5'2, you should b able to wear at least a size 3. but each brand has different sizes. are maybe you're talking about kids sizes.

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. The main question is: Do YOU like the way you look?

I don't think you're considered fat at all. 127lbs is good size :) You don't want to be one of those girls that weighs 90 lbs and is all bony. You're perfect the way you are :)

You aren't fat at all. At 127# and 5' 3", your body mass index is 22.5, normal is 18.5 to 24.9. In fact, I'm 166# and 6' 0"--my bmi is exactly the same as yours, 22.5. I could stand to be better toned, but my weight is reasonable.
