I just dont like kissing. I will kiss my boy friend but for some reason we dont kiss all that much, not that i know how much is normal heh, or if there is a "normal" amount.
Something about kissing just does nothing for me. Something happened when I was younger that sort of turned me off it. And I just can't get used to the idea.
Is it strange for a couple not to kiss hello and goodbye!? Am I just being stupid in thinking there are rules to kiss at certain times. I'm fine in showing any other physical signs of affection, but would just rather not kiss all the time.

I don't think there are any standards about kissing or not kissing, or how much kissing! If it just "does nothing" for you, it would be an "empty"gesture indeed. You didn't say if this matters to your boy friend or not. You did mention something that happened to you when you were younger that "sort of" turned you off. If you're comfortable with the way you feel, I don't think you should even bother to "go there" for some psychological reason you "might" find. If you're okay with now, (truly okay), it's often not worth it to go back for "reasons." (Why do I have this fanciful image of you, spinning, spinning, spinning spider webs!)

You're completely fine. My fiance and I have been together for 5 1/2 years and we hardly ever french kiss. Actually we haven't in over 2 years. I know the reason, but he doesn't. He is just a horrible kisser so instead of it doing something for me, it just irritates the hell out of me so I eventually just quit. I know sometime I'm going to have to tell him, because I would love to kiss again, but there is just no nice way of telling someone you've been with for over 5 years that he sucks at kissing. But, no honey, it's completely normal, there are alot of people in serious relationships that don't kiss all of the time.

Frankly I think it's a personal thing. I would die with out my husband's kisses. I kiss him every time He's in the room..but that's just me.! If what happend to you when you were younger was a tramatic thing he might understand and not force you to it. Give you self some time and maybe it will just grow on you, if not enjoy all the other things you can do with eachother.

I don't think that's weird as all. As long as your boyfriend doesn't mind and it's not negatively affecting your relationship, I don't think you should worry about it. To be honest, I've been with my boyfriend 7 months now and I'm all kissed out. I used to enjoy it but now it's turned annoying and routine-like. You're probably better off not over-kissing...

I use to be the same way. It's not really a strange thing. Different people show different signs of affection. The point of affection is to enjoy it, so just do what you enjoy.

If your boyfriend doesn't mind, why worry about it. Not all people kiss hello and goodbye with their mates. It is a personal choice for each person. I personally love kissing, could do it for hours. But if it makes you uncomfortable or whatever, don't force it. It's your choice.

well it is all about how you feel.. i mean if you feel uncomfortable then your boyfriend should understand... it's all a matter of time & u getting used to being in a relationship.
i'm sure that as you spend more time with him and experience different things you actually might start liking kissing..

It will always be difficult for you if you don't want to kiss. Men view this as rejection. They will move on if they feel rejected.
