There is no such thing as the rapture. The Bible indicates that the Church of God will be protected from the tribualtions to come somewhere here on Earth.
Revelations 12:6, 7:3-4.
The people who are not protected are going to go thru a really bad time:
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
Gonna be pretty bad.
True Christians do not belive in the rapture.

No. There are other ways to look at the End Times events. There are dipensational teachings that talk about a Rapture that is pre Second Coming. I believe that is true. But there are others who don't. They can be called Spiritualists, or Historicists.
The people who don't go are here to face the terrible times on Earth called the Great Tribulation. A tribulum is when a farmer takes the wheat that is harvested and beats on it to separate the wheat from the 'chaff'. The chaff is thrown away or burned, and the wheat is collected.
So those that are here on Earth after the Rapture are 'Tribulated' so that they can make their choice of either to trust God or not to trust God. Many of the comforts of civilization will not be apparent, and the world will change for the worse for those seven years of the Great Tribulation.

Rapture is not mentioned one time in the bible.
But there is prophecy that is yet to come on the subject.
First prophecy is the dead will rise first,
then the christians will be transformed, in
a twinkle of an eye.
because flesh and blood will never make it to heaven,as stated in corinthians 15, 49-52
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
By waking up the dead I would say all the spirits at rest will rise and be given new bodies, I dont think the human eye will see
this evidence.
And all the living it says transformed meaning present body changed into, not
left for dead.
So a new body for heaven is not flesh and blood. So in an earthly sense would be invisible to the earthly body which would appear as a disapearance of the masses.
A good answer to this sinerio is
Luke 17, 34 - 36
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
As for when Jesus comes back it will be
a sound of a voice and he will be like a
thief at night taking whats his.
Thesolonians 4, 16-18
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Now we are at a point to where all that are
christs are gone, and the ones that are left
are not his.
What do you think everybody would think
if a whole bunch of people were gone.
Thier gonna do some searching for answers.
What would be there best answer?
Probably U.F.O. abductions of the masses.
No telling it may be a big stage for some
ruler taking all the credit for getting rid of
a bunch of headaches, who knows.
But to put the last topping of something of
this nature is going to happen we can look into Revelations of possibly why theres a
dissapearance.
Gods going to judge the unbelievers that
dwell on the earth in those days.
Even more prophetic material yet to come.
Rev 3-10
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
I hope this give you some sort of birds eye
view.

Here is an interesting thought to the dispensationalists out there:
You believe that Christ will return and take all of His people home. What do you think it means when Christ says in Matt. 24:37-38,
“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. “For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,"
What happened in the days of Noah? Who did G-d(1) take away? He took the evil people away. He left Noah on the earth. Please refer to the story in Genesis if you don't believe me. (Gen. 6-7) So, if Jesus says that it will be like the days of Noah when the Son of Man returns is it not possible that G-d will do the same thing in the time of Noah that he will do in the time of the Son's return? Will G-d not take away the evil people and leave the good behind?
Also, why do you believe in the rapture? If you say Biblically back up the scripture and please do not Isogete the passages.
Note (1) [If you wonder my reasons for typing 'G-d'. Basically, I feel I take away from His holiness by even writing out His name. So, I follow the way Jewish Rabbis and Christian scholars write His name.]

Not all Christians believe in the rapture...most believe but have different views on when it will accrue. The ones that get left behind will either of 3 things...get saved and be put to death but have everlasting life, get saved live the full 7 years and then live on earth with Christ for 1000 years, or not get saved live up to 7 years but spend eternity in hell. The best thing to do now is simple get saved, "be born again" so that when the rapture does happen you won't be left behind, and you won't have to die for being a Christian or worry about hell.

The word rapture is not used in the Bible, old or new testament. The event is found in 1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
This is what is commonly referred to as the rapture - when the true belivers in Christ shall be called from the grave and raised in their new, in-corruptable bodies as well as the living caught up and being transformed.
You can also find references to the rapture or transformation in Thessolonians:1 Thessalonians 4:17 (King James Version) 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord
Now as to what will happen to those left behind, they will have to endure the great tribulation which will be brought upon the earth (see Revelation). Can you still be saved? Yes, but it will be much more difficult. Remember, Satan (Anti-Christ) is openly ruling and the true church has been taken out of the world. The devil will use everything in his power to deceive those remaining on earth.
2 Thess 2:
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
*Remember, Satan knows his time is short and will use everything in his power to deceive, lie, kill, and destroy.
The bible also tells us that most of those left behind will curse God, not accept Him or His Son, even in the middle of this judgement when you think people would cry out for God.
May God bless you.

After the rapture satan will be losed to do as he pleases with the world execpt ISREAL. You see God is real. And when he removed the Christians from the earth. He will then allow all mankind to fall under satans influence. The world will attack Israel and try to destroy it God will then destory much of mankind. GOD will rain down the bowls of wrath that have been saved back for that time. 2/3 of the mankind will be destroyed. There will be starvation, Wars and sickness. destructive hail and worse. This world is being prepared for that right now. All the events in the globe are leading up to that moment. God mercy in that time will be for Israel.
In the period of tribulations man will not be able to buy or sell with out recieving the mark of the beast. If you recieve that mark, God can't give you salvaiton and if you recieve salvaiton and then take the mark you can't be saved. This will be a period of time like no other on the earth. But this timewill come to a end but few will servive.

I believe Christ is coming again. I am not sure exactly how and the bible isn't clear on all the details. We just know he is coming and I will know when he calls me. The ones that are left behind will have another chance, as my understanding. It will supposedly be a very hard tribulation time.
Do you know there is a book series named, "Left Behind" by Tim LaHaye. Awesome books I must say, I have read them all. I do not think however the rapture will be like what these books depict. I really don;t even think the details matter, just the trueness and love in my heart for Jesus!

The ones that are left behind are in for a very difficult period of time. The seven years that follow the rapture will make today's difficulties seem like a child's birthday party.
I do not know if all Christians believe in the rapture. However it is clearly described in the Bible.

Hello, Nanook:
The rapture fable has insulted God and Christianity, and it was the truth that was LEFT BEHIND in that movie.
However, there are many scientists and politicians that feel helpless to bring our spiraling earth into stability. The "dooms-day clock" was moved closer to midnight--thanks to uncontrollable terrorists, and it is a well known fact that the Russian Mafia offered nukes to Clinton with concessions he didn't want to make, so they sold them to terrorists.
This world is caught in an inescapable vortex, and, to quote Jesus, "few enter at the straight gate." The great majority will be lost when the elements melt with fervent heat and the atmosphere is dissolved.
I want to be in the group that is translated alive while this world incinerated. There is a Bible code for people who need more evidence to establish their faith. Break the code at www.revelado.org/revealed.htm
Blessings and AGAPE love, One-Way
