Homosexuals have screamed so loud about how unfairly they are being treated that the foolish liberals in this country have actually started to believe that lie.
They deserve no special rights any more than anyone else.
But in this country the 'cry babies' get the attention.

First of all, Chill out. If you aren't gay then don't go there. Second of all, if people didn't FREAK out so much about homosexuality there wouldn't be the need for that special tab. Third of all, the founding fathers are dead and have been for some time but to be honest I think that more or less they would be pretty damn proud of the little nation no one thought would make it. We were based on FREEDOM. Of all kinds. When that freedome wasn't given, we got the Civil War. Which gave MORE freedom. We have the civil rights movement which gave MORE freedom. Freedom is like...what we do best.

I read what you said a couple of times. I'm trying to think about what it is that you are trying to say. You don't approve of Homosexuality. Okay. There are a lot of people like you. But what if someone else does approve of homosexuality? Are you to cause the government to make it against the law? And if you do, are you to make sure that the penalty is something that would fit the 'crime' of being a homosexual? What punishment should there be for being and acting out a homosexual activity?
So you are either young, or just naive. What could anyone do to stop two or more consenting adults to use their bodies the way they want? Is that what the founding fathers were supposed to do? Make it against the law to have sex?

Well, the marketing firm for Atlanta's tourism recognized an opportunity for revenue for the city. That's what that's about. Not catering to anyone, just realizing this is an untapped market, perhaps, and any businessperson has the right to do something like that.
The USA is not catering to them. The idea of crimes against homosexuals being classified as hate crimes has been rejected. Only a few states allow civil unions - still can't call them marriages. That's hardly catering.

Everything caters to "normal" man and woman couples, thats why homosexuals get their "special" catagory.
If people just catered to couples in general, and so much hate wasn't put towards homosexuals then they wouldn't have to get so much special treatment.
Also, I'm sure our founding fathers never wanted black people to have equal rights as well, so your point doesn't matter.

That special tab is to inform Gays and Lesbians of places where they can go and have fun free from the judging eyes of people like you who can't/won't "tolerate" them. A place where they can go and be themselves without having to worry about being disrespected because of whom they've fallen in love with.
And we do NOT have equal rights in this country, not yet. We in no way shape or form "cater" to homosexuals. They do not receive any of the rights that married heterosexual couples receive, so how can you say they are catered to?

What exactly did the founding fathers have in mind when they wrote "All men are created equal"?
No where does it say all men are created equal except if you are homosexual...
The tab is put there for convience just like tabs are in place for certain holiday celebrations such as Cinco De Maya in California and Arizona or specialized activities tabs such as horse racing venues and schedules in Kentucky... Not everyone is Mexican and would celebrate Cinco De Maya, not everyone is a horse racing fan and would want to see venues and schedules...
Homosexuals should have all the same rights as heterosexuals, the right to marry, adopt children, etc... As it stands homosexuals do not have the right to adopt in every state and do not have the right to marry... We can discuss catering to the needs of a section of society when all sections of society have equal rights...

None of the above. The gays tend to be much better off financially and also spend much more on their vacations. Just look at the difference in their tipping habits or purchases of theater tickets, If the Corn belt Christers spent as much on travel as they give to their Televangelists the advertising would be directed at them instead.

if homosexuals have one tab, that does means ALL the others are for you if you are not homosexual, so the whole website is for you. Why are you complaining?
If for whatever reasons you feel uncomfortable in the company of homosexuals you can figure out where not to go, so that tab is for you too. Or if you think those bars there are more fun, you still can go there. They are usual very tolerant people and don't mind straight people hanging out. So that tab is good for you too.
So as the entire website is catering to you, what is your problem? That they don't bother to put the label on: this is for everybody who is not a minority? anyway, what does that have to do with religion anyway?

it may be because there are more homosexuals than you thinkexist in the US. There are certainly more pedophiles than we know exist, even among political officials.
We know the vice president has a lesbian daughter.
Maybe they just got some in family and don't want crap from home?
Besides homosexuality has been around probabvly longer than pedophilia.

What you're looking at is the pragmatic result of courting a demographic with solid discretionary income that has a very strong tendency for brand loyalty. The tourism industry is not foolish and goes where the money is. Betcha didn't see that one coming.
