Because Demon spirits dont like to be exposed and the word of GOD exposes them so they get uncomfortable.

Many people in this world don't even know who Jesus is. Are they going to go to hell too? Jesus is the only way, you say? Well what about Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and all other religions in the world? Are they all left in the dust? Do you know the truth? Some people probably hate to hear the truth from you. They are tired of a narrow-minded view. Be open to the world. God is unbiased. We are all on a ladder towards God. Through spiritual progress, you can reach Him.

Why do you hate the truth?

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in someone else's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from the other person's eye.

How about this one?

"Truly I tell you, people will be forgiven all their sins and all the blasphemies they utter. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin."

You might as well pack up your snake oil dogma. I'm beyond salvation. Most of us "truth haters" (as you've judged us) are. If you actually read your bible instead of spouting off the pithy Jesus bumper sticker cliches, you would have figured that out already. Personally, I'm going to embrace the real truth, not the one you've been socialized into. The Holy Spirit, along with your biblical god and mythical messiah, are false.

On your witnessing style: you catch more flies with honey than with fire and brimstone.

Why don't people like you "get it". The bible is a FAITH based religion. It says so itself. So therefore by it being a faith based religion, there is no proof of it. If God and Jesus both exist, then they know this. They want you to have faith. If you knew the absolute truth then you would believe because you HAVE to, not because you WANT to. Thats half the point.

Maybe it's true, but I do think we have to make sure that when we witness, it doesn't come across like a threat. That's why I don't talk about hell very much if I'm telling someone about being a Christian. I tell them how God has changed my life in a very real way.

I wouldn't say they "hate "the truth. They merely fear the truth.

I remember growing up thinking mom and dad do not know what they are talking about. As I grew older, I realized there was not only truth but wisdom in their teachings. It is the same with Jesus. One day, ALL will realize the truth and then it will be too late. We found out sooner.

The reason I said they fear the truth is because they do not understand the truth that is Jesus. And most people fear what they don't understand.

I am not lost but will gladly accept your prayers. In fact, I will even return the favor. God bless.

Because you claim that the only "truth" in the world comes from a book that you were made to read as a child, and from what your parents told you was fact-you were young, so you believed it. If you were born & raised in Israel, you would have been made to read the Torah and raised as a Jew. I'm sorry to break it to you, but everyone on this planet has their own version of what truth really and truly means. I look at it like this: everyone as individuals need to find their own version of truth and apply it to better their own lives in spite of what others tell them it is. After all, making your life better is what religion is intended to do, isn't it?

Might I suggest a less... well aggressive strategy in the future? People tend to get offended when you tell them all their beliefs are wrong. Let people believe what they want to, God gave man agency for a reason, let others use it.
But to answer your question, I love the truth, its one of the few sure things in this world.

You can SAY that you "know" it's the truth until you're blue in the face, but that doesn't change the FACT that you simply BELIEVE that it's the truth. Christians tend to warp the meaning of the word "truth" to suit their purposes.
Don't get me wrong, I wish you all the happiness in the world in your beliefs, but it is a little irritating when people use the word "truth" to talk about their religious BELIEFS.

Some people have been hurt alot... sometimes really devistated by people that say they are christians. I think thats the biggest reason why.
I myself love Jesus with all my heart, soul, spirit... but I totally understand why some people stay away from or don't trust people who are spiritual/religious. Only by the grace of G-d, did I come to Jesus Christ myself. It was before I ever knew one Christian. Don't ask how, it would take to long to explain... but it has to do with Christ Himself calling me... out of His Spirit of love.

Prove it without the Bible. Prove that your god is real and not the Hindu gods, or gods of other religion. Just because we don't believe in your god or any god for that matter doesn't mean we don't love truth, athiests/agnostics/non-christians love truth.
