Five.
One to throw the matchboxes against the wall,
one to pile hundreds of matchsticks in a heap and spray-paint them,
one to glue those painted matchsticks to a wall,
one to put all those broken matchboxes in the fire to fill the room with lights n shades.

So that all the critics and buyers can watch...
the painter smashing the matchboxes,
and the painter spray-painting,
and the wall with it's light n shades effects.

as the fifth painter pluck out a matchstick from the wall and break it.

One painter.
I'm sitting in my angry chair breaking match sticks right now. There's a rather large pile at my feet right now.
Why?
Because it's cheaper than breaking my paintbrushes.
