which religion or pilosophical ideology best suits my beliefs:

Everything happens for a reason or many reasons though the reason is not usually obvious and may never be known. Events occur because they are meant to.

I believe in some sort of spiritual force, but I am not sure what. Maybe it is something within nature ie the trees and Earth. Maybe God.

I do not think humans really have superiority to animals. I am very much against cruelty to animals. I am also for the protection of the environment.

I do not believe the Bible or Holy Qu'ran is true. They are just a collection of stories that have been distorted over time and passed on by word of mouth before being written down.

I believe in some supernatural events that are unexplained and it really makes me think and wonder.

Humans created the modern organized religions. They wanted an explanation to things they did not understand.

i might add some more later... ask me questions if you want to know more about somethign specific

a lot of people have said I do not need a label. you make good points and i agree.

the reason I would like to call myself something is that I could go around and proudly tell people what I am if they ask about my religion. It would be cool if there was a specific philosphy that i could say I am. that doesn't make much sense to you all, does it?

i guess I'm kind of leaning towards agnosticism, but i dont like their lack of faith in everything

You are a Self Actuated Thinker. The fact that you have categorized what you believe means you are looking at your belief system. You will most likely change some of your beliefs if you continue looking for truth.
When you can look at sources of knowlege like books, movies, the bible and the Qu'ran and see that they all contain some truths and some misinterpretation and be able to discern the real from the false, you will be able to find freedom in a world where many do not. If you are not already, you soon will be a Seeker.

I'm in agreement with you. All I need is some sort of vague, self-created notion of "God" and I'm good to go. I think being cruel to animals is perfectly okay, because there is no such thing as hell or judgement, and who is anybody to judge me? Benjamin Bloom, one of the fathers of American public education, says that right and wrong are inferior concepts. He said that the highest form of intellectual development is when an individual no longer believes in right or wrong. Therefore, quit putting labels on animal cruelty. It's not right or wrong. It's a matter of personal belief.

If this is what you believe, then believe it. Do not waste your time trying to classify it as a religion or a school or thought. It is yours & I am sure that there are many people who would agree with you. You are a human being, believe in yourself. It is senseless to want a name for your beliefs. In fact, it may signify you falling prey to the ideals you disagree with.

To quote you: "Humans created the modern organized religions. They wanted an explanation to things they did not understand. "

you are you. there is no need for a title for your beliefs, your faith. do not categorize yourself with one. i feel i believe most of the same as you. i do, however, know that it is God i believe in, and i do believe that the Old Testament and the Apochrypha, are to be taken into consideration as these are mainly stories of God's events, when he was much more ...social... with us. but i do agree with the Bible should not be taken so seriously and literally all together. it is only a guide for life, not a book to live by.

what you are is what you choose to be.believe it or not, alot of people feel the way you feel, but afraid to express it for fear of being criticized.truthfully there is a higher power,i acknowledge it ,but not sure who.God ,Jesus,Jehovah ,ali ,budah ,who knows ,everyone has their own since of being.you just try to live life right and to the fullest .i believe everything happens for a reason, and we have control over our destiny.life is a journy and regardless of the path you choose ,the results are the same DEATH.
