Jello every day but until you get them how you want them, there are those red gelatin capsules that you can get from the pharmacy and take a few a day and then keep up the results by either more capsules or jello en masse (regularly). Eight glasses of fresh water daily will help also! The more, the better! Nothing else will do as well as that! Selenium is great but tastes awful! when pure. (You might get it in capsules but it is not as strong like that!)
Hard as Nail products may get the nails hard but when you hit them anywhere, they just break real bad. On the other hand, if you take gelatin and water, they will be strong and still bend. Mine broke backwards yesterday, (the whole way but came back intact! which is better than being hard as crystal but have them also break like crystal! if you know what I mean!)

Eating jello really works! And taking calcium and vitamin E is good for your skin and nails...I use a product called NutraNail that I like better than hard as nails. I always put some kind of oil on my bare nails and let it soak in overnight before I give myself a manicure...this helps stop the peeling. Also use a nail polish remover thats acetone free, it wont dry the nails out so much.

take calcium vitamins or hair skin and nails vitamins if possible get nail vitamins. Nails tend to break when you do anything around water a lot. Or do anything that has to have your hands and nails doing stuff. Filing will also keep nails from breaking and chipping. It's what I do. After I wash dishes or clothes I massage a cuticle lotion which keeps my nail healthy and strong. http://cgarcia1.qbeautyzone.com/products/product.aspx?itemno=A5818

The absolute best stuff I've ever used in my life!!!!!!!
They have different formulas for different problems. I need the one for breakage but mom needs the one for peeling...anyway out of all the things we've tried this stuff beats everything else by far.
They sale it at most salons now for 10 bucks but you can get it online too.

none of those nail products work as well as what im about to tell you. when your nails start to get long, clip them. its like hair, the more you trim them before spilt ends(cut them before they break or tear) the healthier, longer, and thicker your nails will be

you should try rounding them, nails tend to break less when it's a round shape. also you can try applying a nail hardener. it's also beneficial to your nails. try not to keep them too long, they break easier. also go for regular manicure to keep them nice and strong.
