We can either choose to be with God by our actions or choose to distance ourselves. Maybe hell is just not being with God.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The punishment of God is like forewarned curse. He does not make it in spur of the moment He knew mankind made a grave mistake that warrants His anger. Nature and its elements may have it destructive cycle of events that forms part of a new beginning as if it ended a man's wickedness, it may come at a time to send mankind His message of distress over our wicked actions. But like Nineveh, when Man return to God upon hearing the destruction that may happen, He can put a stop to it or even if it push through, it may not be as destructive as expected.
Individual mishaps in our own life can be caused by the wrong choice of action we take on to our journey to the destiny we desire. His Blessings will be given to anyone who live righteously but for the wicked, though he may achieve a certain path of joy and wealth, his end will always be without God's Blessings and he may live in Curse....www.thename.ph

Hell not just being with God? Then how come so many Christians feel like their in a lot of suffering and hard times who believes their God is with them?

Most of the world's problems are a result of our own actions or lack of.

I like the presentation in the River of Fire. We put ourselves there and corrupt ourselves. Both Hell and Heaven begin here.

We are our own worst enemy is absolutely right! We have been brainwashed by Christian garbage that makes us feel worthless as people. I used to worry every step I took if I was offending God. When I tossed it out, I began to live-- and I don't mean I just went crazy sinning! I found my happiness in another religion all together that believes we make mistakes and learn from them>> No Hellfire for all eternity....who could do such a thing?

.We do it our self's,Hell is nothing like you have been through own earth, trust the words of God.Hell is Fire and brimstone and gashing of teeth, and Torture for ever and ever...Over and over and over.nothing of good is their only dark things their is no light their...And God cant be found once you have been sent to Hell..it will be to late to debate then, Yes ones self sends ones self to hell...By denying God.. and Jesus His Son.God Bless all That is sorta like asking a small child why He did it I don't know...Well if we keep excepting that, as an answer, that child will grow up, and their answer will always be I don't no..so you have to establish to the child that what he was doing over and over again and again was wrong so he will be able to identify you get punished for the wrongs you do in Life...Here own earth and in Hell..Because their is no punishment in Heaven only the Good and meek and the ones that have a spirit of a child who has been taught Gods words and right from wrong....We gather in peace where we will live forever and ever

There is an in-between. Sometimes we just end up in that separation from God's love. People who suffer from depression could experience that separation from God through no fault of their own.

Hell IS the eternal separation from God...Life itself.

Einstein's references ought to suffice to show that the assumption of "hell" or eternal torment and punishment does certainly teach forth interior the Scriptures. This difficulty is sin and the desire for it to be dealt with. God is a only and holy God who has been indignant by our insurrection. There are 2 techniques for sin to be dealt with: by Jesus or by eternal punishment. the two He will pay or we pay.

We punish ourselves. We are our own worse enemy. Take it to God, but so many forget to do that. Take it to God.

God Almighty has made a system and left choice to us to chose. According to our deeds we put our selves in system and system takes us to where we belongs. God Almighty is just, He is impartial, He will do injustice to those who does good deeds and vise versa.
