It should be between 72-76 degrees. Wow, 82? That is way too hot!

This temperature is way too hot! The highest a daycare should keep their temperature is 72. When you take him out of that environment into the real world he will get quite chilled and is likely to get sick. A baby does not need a temperature setting any higher than an adult does. If I were you, I would find another day care and tell the caretaker the reason. How could anyone be comfortable at 82 degrees?

A daycare should be at room temp or a little below, maybe 62-68 is the most comfortable. Also with active children it needs to be cooler so that they will not be too hot.

That is WAY too hot and dangerous. My doctor told me that 68-72 degrees is the ideal temperature for a room if children are in it. Get them to change it or get him out of there. How hot is it going to be in the middle of summer, honestly!

Call and mention it to the proper authorities. That kind of heat is NOT okay.
If any of those children have heart problems, like my child does, any heat like that can cause them have a heat stroke.
You are paying for them to care for your child., not by their standards, but by standards that are set by the state. You should do a search using key words- state names, licensed child-care centers. Also their history should be on the Internet as public record to see if they have had previous violations.
All this information in Texas is under the "Department of Family Protective Services". Yours should be in the same department as Child Protective Services also.

That's too hot. I'd understand if it's very hot climate (Florida, Arizona, etc.) where it's very tough to regulate the inside temp. Are the other kids sweaty? Do they have fans in the rooms?

In the state of Oklahoma there is no set temperature. Your child's daycare seems to warm.
