We are definitely in the last days. Jesus gave definite signs to preceed His coming when the islands and mountains will disappear and the wicked destroyed; yet, according to most answers to your question, they are as tranquil as they were in Noah's day.
The timing of the great conflilct between good and evil was known by those living before Christ's advent, and there are others, like Justin Martyr, who also knew this. But we have forgotten. That is why God closed one part of the Bible that no one could understand until "the end of the days." The key to break the code is published at www.revelado.org/revealed.htm.
I'm looking forward to that rescue mission, and will be looking for you in Heaven.
Blessings and AGAPE love, One-Way

I feel the world is going to end at Gods appointed time.
Excitement is appropriate if you are satisfied with your eternal home. Are you a born again Christian? If not, don't get too excited.

it's makes me laugh that the Muslim woman finds Bush Creepy, OH REALLY?, they are so hypocrites, I find the "few" hundreds of millions of extremists, then how?, for sure that if a person that it is in the English section will use her name in English will make a lot of a better for the respect, but ...
No, the world someday will kill the pain of these days and then will start to conquer and populate the space, is the mission of earth: Evolution, but first unfortunately we can't go with one side of the plane in century 21 and the other in century 6, obviously, something will have to happen.

I don't think the world ever ends on a divine plan, and barring some cataclysmic natural event, it will go on forever. Now the question of mankind's fate is another matter worthy of a lifelong study.

It will end when the sun expands into a Red Giant. In about 4 billion years, give or take.
Good night.

Get a life!!! The world's been going to end since the silly bible days!!! The apostles thought it would be in their time and every generation has sworn it's theirs...Much disappointment over nothing!! If you're so excited, you'll be even more disappointed~~~Live your life and be happy!!!

I don't REALLY believe the world will end in my life, though there was a time I did.
I do think that to witness it will be exciting.
Perhaps I AM a freak :)

Yes. It is good that you are ready spiritually for that day. The day when Christ returns, and we get our glorified bodies. The day when our faith becomes sight. When the toils of life repay. I join you in saying "Praise God that day is coming!". But we should not forget those around us. They need to be ready too. We must get the message of salvation out, because no man knows the day or the hour of Christ's return.
