Good question, Postalman, and judging by the responses, most claim they will fight rather than switch.
I disagree! And think all it will take is a couple more attacks like 9-11 and they will swallow any medicine the government prescribes, be it a theocracy and the abolution of religious freedom now guaranteed by our Coustitution.
You are aware, of course, that beauracrats have talked of a common religion to bring in global peace. In fact, Thomas Jefferson, who well knew abour religious bigotry in Europe, first advocated a composite religion to unite the people into one faith. Each State had their pet denomination, and they wanted it recognized. So, that suggestion almost got Jefferson impeached, so he advocated freedom of conscience--thank God. Sometimes it takes an agnostic to save us from ourselves.
To answer your question, I will do like the early Christians, and not fight or join them. I'll obey God rather than man, and do all I can do to promote non-violent responses from others.
That is what God will have us do, and just like His first-century church, He has made provisions for each of His faithful children.
So, Trust God! He has it all worked out; in fact, there is a Bible code, hidden until now--just for you. Learn how to break the code at www.revelado.org/revealed.htm

If you will remember your world history, the dark ages were when the then church in power did control the governents and you had no religious freedoms. and do you remember the Inquisition? if not look it up and read it. that is what would happen if we forced religion on the population by the government. I am a law abiding christian, I keep the 10 commandments of GOD and even the 7th day Sabbath, and this freedom would be stripped away if this happened. Our founding fathers, in the 18th century were well aware of religion and politics, as it was a part of Europeon government in their day. The proclamations made in the Constitution were meant to separate the USA from that form of Government. Yes our civil laws were based on GOD"S principles, including the freedom of choice, even the choice not to believe. The same techniques will not used in the same way as before during the dark ages, and that it will be a more subtle form of control that the people will not recognize. Revelation 13:11. It will happen because the BIBLE SAYS SO.

it somewhat is a real government in heaven awaiting ruler deliver over the earth. Jesus taught us to desire for it at Matthew 6:10.... permit your kingdom come. permit your will ensue, as in heaven, additionally upon earth. via fact with God no statement would be an impossibility.” Luke a million:37 this would not recommend Jehovah says only something. What he says is clever and is connected will reaching his will. And interior the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that heavily isn't further to destroy. And the dominion itself will no longer be exceeded directly to the human beings. it is going to weigh down and placed an end to a number of those kingdoms, and it itself will stand to cases indefinite; Daniel 2:40 4 This Kingdom is authentic and the only element which will end mans suffering and get rid of dying, conflict, poverty and all issues that oppress guy. you have some great solutions.

This is a strange question, because many law in our land are God's laws (murder, stealing, etc..). Perhaps more clarity would help in answering your question.
I do not support what modern folks call theocracy. However I do support an establishment of the true religion. Even nations have moral obligations as we find clearly in the Bible;
Psalm 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The KINGS of the earth set themselves, and the RULERS take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
...
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye KINGS: be instructed, ye JUDGES of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Yes of course I would fight since the government would be on the same level as the terrorists. In New Hampshire the people still have the power of revolution written inside its Constitution. Live free or Die!!!!!!!1

I don't believe this will ever happen. What do you mean by 'Gods laws'? I believe that the freedom we enjoy is a God-given right. He wants his people free! The whole point of free-will is that you have a right to choose good or evil. He doesn't want us to do good because we have to, but because we want to in response to his love for us. I don't believe that the U.S. government will ever be anything but a democracy.

Well, it wouldn't be the U.S. government then, would it?
Of course I'd fight against it. I've pledged my allegiance to the United States, and I take that pledge seriously.

I'm too old to run, and it couldn't be any rougher than Vietnam. Of course I'd have to find me a Springfield. Then the minute I see the death of a Pagan I'd start making holy crosses.

Forget Mexico, I'm heading to Canada! Or maybe Japan...
On a more serious note, I would fight it. This country was founded on freedom, and it must stay that way.

FIGHT! Half my family has fought at one time or another for freedom and one of them died for it. I will have part in going back to the dark ages. That scares the CRAP out of me!
