It still hurts really bad, I wake up with it swollen every morning, and I'm getting a lot of puss from it. Is that normal?

AMANDA,
THIS IS NOT NORMAL AND IT MEANS THAT THE SITE WHERE THE SURGERY TOOK PLACE HAS AN INFECTION. CALL THE DENTIST A.S.A.P. AND GET AN ANTIBIOTIC CALLED IN FOR THIS. SOME PUSS IS NORMAL BUT A LOT IS NOT. MAYBE A STICH CAME LOOSE AND YOU NEED IT RE-SUTURED.

no- if there is discharge from it, you need to go back to your oral surgeon.
this is a sign of infection. (it should be included in all your post-op care).
hope this helps.
