God hates fags, God hates America, God hates soldiers etc. we've seen and love 'em! (not really) Is there any truth in what they say? What does it mean when God hates all workers of iniquity? Also, what does I loved Jacob, but hated Esau mean? I believe God is love and that the westboro baptist cult is completely nuts. I won't argue that the bible says homosexuality is an abomination, but so is eating shrimp? why doesn't fred and his brainwashed crones protest red lobsters or something like that?

It's very simple: God doesn't hate anybody. He does not, however, tolerate bad behavior, just like your mother. Argue about whether it's wrong or not, not who hates who.

OTHER ABOMINATIONS IN THE BIBLE:
Eating shellfish.(Leviticus 11:10), (Leviticus 11:11) AND (Leviticus 11:12) Eating pork. (Leviticus 11:7)
Adultery (Lev 18:20), Remarrying one's wife after she's had another husband in between (Deut 24:4) Having sex with a woman while she’s on her period (Lev 18:19) Trimming one's beard (Lev 19:26-28) Taking out a loan, or giving a loan and charging interest. (Psalms 15-1-5) Wearing a material made of wool and linen, (Deuteronomy 22:11) Wearing any blended material, period. (Leviticus 19:19)
Of course, when something THEY do is shown to be an abomination, many abominators (who quote the Bible to condemn others) will claim that that’s not what the Bible MEANT. (So now the Bible is suddenly open for re-interpretation--and of course, it'll always be in THEIR favor.) Fundamentalists change their entire methodology of scriptural interpretation when it suits their purpose, even when dealing with verses that are a just couple of sentences away from each other!
Remember, this isn't about faith whatsoever. It's about people who have pre-existing anti-gay prejudice in their hearts. They selectively quote the Christian Bible to attempt to affirm and legitimize that pre-existing prejudice. You don't see the same people condemning those who eat shrimp cocktail, do you? And that's named as an abomination THREE times—in the SAME book of the Bible! And for the record, there is NOWHERE in the Bible that says banning shellfish and pork has anything to do with disease or the meat being unhealthy. It simply says it's an abomination if you eat it. Anyone who tries to make excuses and say they were just worried about people's health is proving my point about reinterpreting the Bible to suit their purposes. You either believe what the Bible says in it's entirety, or you're a hypocrite. At the very least, don't reinterpret quotes that are only sentences away from a quote that YOU consider NOT to be open to interpretation.

While it is true that the Bible says that Homosexuality is an abhorent practice and he destroyed 2 cities for their gay lifestyles and as far as Jacob and Esau Jacob had an appreciation for Spiritual and Sacred things where as Esau HATED THOSE THINGS and as for the shrimp that was only under the Mosaic law because of protecting his people from disease associated with improperly handling and preparation of those and pork as there are 3 diseases associated with those food groups this was told them centuries before it was discovered by "modern science" and as far as BTG he also will destroy that does that answer your question Gorbalizer

God doesn't hate homosexuals, but He says that homosexuals hate Him. (Starting in Romans 1:24). God would love nothing more, I think, than for homosexuals to return (or join, if they have not been part of it) to His fold; to say that He hates them is exactly wrong.

God hated Esau because Esau's heart was black -- God knew exactly how evil he was because He knows everything. Esau had free will and made his own choices, but God knew what those choices would be.

God absolutely does not hate gays. He hates sin though, and homosexuality is a sin. And just the same as every other sin it needs to be repented of and turned away from when a person accepts Jesus forgiveness of sin. The Bible says that God isn't willing that anyone should perish but we all have our own free will. Whether or not we accept Gods gift of salvation is totally up to each of us no matter what our sin is. God loves gay people and sent them His one and only Son to die for us and pay for our sins. !!! God Bless!!

God does not hate. God is a marriage of Divine Love and Divine Wisdom. That is why mercy and justice are married, charity and faith are married, etc.

I just think God wants them to listen to him and seek his face for cleaning. They don't need to be gay, they have to seek for healing.
