ok i have 6 tats total... and in theory they all to an extent "hurt"..... but not really... this is the order that they were the most irritating then anything.....
1. back piece (between shoulder blades and down the shoulder blades)
2. anklet that goes down the top of my foot into a toe ring
3. center of my back
4. side hip on my back
5. wrist (bracelet)
6. inside of my ankle
and like i said... none of them were completely unbearable... it was more of an aggravating pain.... good luck to u ♥

If you are seriously considering a tattoo, then do not place it according to where you think it will hurt less. You want to put it where you will be happy with it for the rest of your life. The process will be relatively short and in the end you'll be glad you put it where you really, really want it. Tattoo pain is not unbearable. You'll be fine!

I have six tattoos and I'll list them in order of least painful to most painful.
1. Back of the neck
2. Lower right stomach
3. Side of upper left thigh
4. Top of left foot
5. Middle of lower back
6. Middle of upper back
Then again, each of these weren't what you'd call painful. I have a high pain threshold, and when I say "most painful" I mean most irritating, as I find tattoos to be painless. But what I've heard from others is that the foot and lower back is painful. Good luck!

I have 9 tattoos..both ankles, back of neck, thigh, collarbone, and both arms. In my opinion the only one that I would say hurt was the ones on my collarbone. I have 3 stars, and when he got to the middle one (right above my cleavage) it hurt like crazy because it was right on that bone. But if you dont mind having tattoos on your arm (right under your shoulder, or lower, then that would be the place that I recommend.

well i think that it hurts the least on the upper arm. but i think that u should get ur tat wherever u want it and not wherever it hurts the least. i got my 1st tattoo (im 16) on my lower abdomen and it didnt hurt that bad and i was scared of it hurting a lot, but it didnt really hurt that much at all. i think that thing that helped me the most is having someone there to talk to u and keep u distracted.

I have 9 tattoos and that one that hurt the least was on the top of my shoulder, next my back (lower but not too low) and third my foot. Shall I keep going...

I have 10 tattoos and the ones that hurt the least are on the "fatty" areas.... the outside thigh, the butt, or your pelvis area.

I think u should get wat u want and where u want it but most places do hurt but some more then others, also wen thinking of a place think about if u want it to be seen all the time or somewhere that it can be seen wen u want it to or it can also be covered, job interviews or thing like that. practicality..
i have one on my neck it didnt hurt but i can show it or cover it, then one on my wrist i can sorta cover it but that hurt hehe hope i help a bit

My upper biceps were the least painful for me...barely felt the tattoos I have there.

there's a technique which is apparently less painful that standard tattooing : hand tattooing (as in manual inking)
