I always here in movies and video games a person saying that some destination they are going to is 10 "clicks" ahead or some variation of that. What does the "clicks" mean? Miles, kilometers?

Kilometers. This came about when the US military moved to metrics, and many of the draftees in those days couldn't get the hang of saying "kilometers," so clicks it was, and it stuck.

In Canada (and other countries that use the Metric system) "clicks" means "kilometers."

We had a lovely time trying to explain how to convert miles into clicks to some Americans about 2 weeks ago. What a small world!

normally 10 click means there are 10 kilometres still to go most truckers or can mean your doing 10 kilometres per hour . depend on the context it is being used in .
