ok so im making a solar/water car like a dam but to power the pump i used a solar panal 1by3 ft
how it supposed to work
1.pump pushes water through a turbine
2.generator turns making electricity
3.electricity powers motor
4. motor turns axel car should go
would it work?
p.s for pipe im using pvc

Or Power Up car with Solar array & car runs X Hours/days on solar charge & AC charge.
Good idea for the Western US, No Africa.
Hard in the rainy NE US.
Do CAD model first.

Im no expert but im guessing that you would at a minimum need to include in your model a harnessing device (ie a battery) so you could "build up' the power generated by either the solar panel or tubine. it would be the only way to convert the rather minimal power into bursts sufficent to torque the axle of the car in the first place.

Yes, that would work, but wouldn't it be easier to just skip steps 1 and 2 and just connect the solar panel directly to the motor? Solar panel makes electricity that turns motor that turns wheels!

How is the pump connected to the solar celll and what is the water supply. Or do you plan on recirculating the water?
