I've spent time in all the Low Countries, and in Germany and Scandinavia, but nothing prepared me for Amsterdam. I thought Berlin was degenerate. Holland and Denmark are just about the worst places on earth when it comes to truly shameless exploitation of the young. And those people are actually proud of it - proud of all the brothels, proud that you can't sit on a park bench for 3 minutes without a teenage boy or girl propositioning you, most of them junkies. I thought all three countries were filled with the trashiest people I've ever met. At least in the states, trashy people are usually economically deprived; one can understand. But those people are well-to-do,and yes I called them that: trash. As for atheists, who can say?

Those are definitely the places to go if you like sex with juveniles or want to buy porno of that kind. Amsterdam is notorious. I don't know about these days, but in the 80's almost all of the juvenile porno floating around the world came from there,at least anything of "quality' (glossy color magazines, etc.) for the simple reason it was legal. Germany was almost as bad. I took a course on this college but haven't kept up. Probably not much different. Doesn't get much publicity anymore though,I've noticed that.

A. Child Pornography is wrong.
B. It is Netherlands, not Holland.
C. Neither Netherlands nor Denmark makes the most Child Pornography..... their age of consent is 18 years old.
D. If you think these two countries made the most child pornography ..... you hasn't visit Japan.
E. The world's biggest child abuse organisation is Christian .... don't say it is not, it is Catholic, it is Mormon, it is JW ..... bulls ..... you can accuse two countries of such just because some people in their countries does so, why can't other talk the same to you, your other denomination does so.
------
Age of Consent is 12? Perhaps you might like to cite your sources .... The only countries I know where age of consent 12 are Japan, Philippines and Canada.
Age of Consent for Sex for both Netherland and Denmark is 15 and 16 respectively. Similar to USA. The age of consent for pornography is 18 .....

What, do you have a thing against Denmark and the Netherlands or something?
Nice going there trying to slander entire countries by making up stuff. As far as I know, possession of child pornography is outlawed over there.
If you are really concerned about children, shouldn't you be worried about the sex tourism going on in countries like Thailand?

even though this stuff is construed by some athiests, i don't believe that it should reflect on all of them. i'm not an athiest, but i do know a few of them and they are good people. just because someone doesn't believe in God or have a specific religious belief, it doesn't make them a bad person with no sense of moral judgement, a knowledge of right and wrong. Despite what athiests might think, God gave everyone that ability to be able to recognize and choose between right and wrong. It's clear that this group of child pornographic athiests are in the wrong and have chosen wrong, and it's probably for their mind state being that "there is no God, so we should eat, drink, and do child porn...." and that there's nothing after this life so do what makes them happy, even if it is wrong and immoral. however, i don't believe that this should reflect on athiests as a whole.

Well... Depends on what you believe. If you believe that the bible is the word of god, then you should teach your children that god approved of blood sacrifices as soon as then can comprehend what it means to kill. The entire old testament is pure violence and hate, and speaks of a god who is vengeful and angry, and who demands blood. If you believe more of the Jesus thing, you can kind of ignore most of the old testament to fit your beliefs better, and than you can teach your children that god loves his creations so much that he allowed his own son to be put to death for our sins (although I've never really understood what his dying had to do with my sins). As for pornography, you can't ever let your children know about love-making or even see the bare human form. They can hear about how god flooded the earth, killing man and beast with lustful joy, but you really shouldn't let them see a penis or vagina. That would be wrong...

Awww, you're getting cuter and cuter. Now you're even presenting lies as facts to win souls for your silly case.
The largest producers of child porn can be found in Eastern Europe. The entire Eastern Europe is very, very religious, but I'm not silly enough to blame the existence of child porn on religion. That would be really, really silly.
A true fact is that Denmark and Holland have 300% lower STD rates than a Christian nation like the USA. Maybe your next question can involve that fact. That'll be fun!

Why would atheists approve of child pornography? In fact, the latest case to come to light in UK involves a C of E vicar, but I certainly wouldn't generalise that into a statement saying that all C of E vicars are 'into' child pornography.
In any case, child pornography is illegal in both Holland & Denmark. From what I have seen on occasional TV documentaries, a large percentage of child pornography originates in eastern Europe.

Other than the rest of your question being just plain wrong, explain how Mary got married to Joseph when she was about 14.
Explain why the US "christian" culture, up to a few generations ago practiced marriage of girls and boys in their early teens.
So to your leading question - religious background has nothing to do with approval of child pornography.

No, I do not approve of child porn. I do not believe in exploiting children in any way. Just because Denmark and The Netherlands are composed of mostly atheisits, that doesnt mean all of the atheists there are involved in child pornography.
