This is a very difficult question to answer since we travel a lot and have seen so many beautiful places. One very favorite place, however, that I will never forget is Sentra in Portugal. The Castillo de los Mouros roams over a forested mountain like the great wall and at night with the lighting it seems to float in the night sky. There are many fairytale castles in the area as well and the old town is wonderful. It is not far from Lisbon and definitely a must see place.

I loved the Carpathian Mountains in Eastern Europe. Beautiful mountains, castles, and lots of wondeful cities in between.
