After just 500 miles my new 2007 Toyota Camry started shaking at highway speeds. I brought it into the dealer a couple times, no improvement. I went to a local tire dealer, who tried four different sets of tires, and two alingnments on the car, and then finally gave up. I went back to the dealer, who test drove it today, and said that the shaking was "normal operating condition" and that Toyota would do nothing for me.
Dealer said he had seen this a number of times, and Toyota would do nothing for me. This is my brand new, most expensive car I've ever owned. I can't drive the car the way it is. Any ideas on what I can do from here.

ask the dealer to test drive the vehicle with you and then ask them to test drive another new car and show them the difference. they wont be able to deny it if they feel the difference

The 2007 Camry's reliability isn't as good as it was in the 1990s/early 2000s but it's better than the 2007 Mazda CX-7.

I'd say take it back and return it, and sue them if they won't refund all of your money. Just another reason not to buy a Toyota or any foreign car. Japanese car companies and dealerships are notorious for having arrogant dealers who provide absolutely no customer service whatsoever.

Go over the dealer. Call the corporation and Email. Be aggressive and don't give in. You shouldn't have to deal with this. It's brand new.
