I see them as people truly trying to better their lives. I have no problem with immigrants coming to this country, but it needs to be done legally. If they feel that the laws regarding entering this country make it too difficult, then they need to make their best effort to reform those laws without breaking them. I understand why they sometimes feel it necessary to cross the border because of the difficult process, but it is not right to come into this country and make a living tax free when the rest of the Americans pay their taxes. I see immigration as a positive thing, as long as it is done legally.

To me they are people with their lives, their worries, their joys their pains and their hopes; And also enough desperation to try and make it in a country where they will be hunted down like animals, and pointed at and despised without a second thought. The whole thing is very sad.

I see them as people that are criminals. If you are illegal you are breaking the law. If you break the law, you are a criminals and should be punished for your crimes. It's quite simple!

What part of ILLEGAL don't you understand?

Both. Sure, they are people, but when I pay my taxes, and wonder how the money will be used, I think of numbers.
Laws come to mind, too, when I think of illegal aliens. You know, the ones they've broken.

I see them as people who are breaking the law. Some of them I sympathize with, some I don't- just like any other people I've seen.

Like the first post I see them as people but their sheer numbers are astounding and we have to do something to stop it or slow it NOW.

Neither, they are a plague. It's not about race or country of orgin. Look at what the African illegals are doing to Paris. The problem is that there are too many to assimilate into the country. There are not enough resources and government support to help them. Thus, they bring down our country.

People. People who don't respect the laws, language, or culture of the land they've come to work and live in. People who shouldn't be here.
