The females will come into heat every 6 months. Some come in as little as 4 months and as long as 8 months. If you do not want puppies I suggest you have her spayed.

Yes. Only animals that have been spayed do not have heat cycles anymore. You would be better off getting her spayed as animal experts claim it makes better pets, healthier pets.
I know this to be true because i have a 3 yr. old Chi and did not get her spayed until now and she already developed pre cancer. The vet said he felt he caught it in time but i perish the thought if i'd waited umtil lator. I'd had to put her to sleep.
Thank the Lord all is well and i listend to reason. Good luck...

Dogs don't have periods, they come into HEAT.
She will come into heat every 6 months (normally) for 3-4 weeks and during that time, you will need to keep her away from all male dogs - fixed or not. Talk to a vet and arrange to get her spayed ASAP.

nope. once spayed they're going to by no ability pass into warmth back. meaning no bleeding. in the adventure that your canine is bleeding she's probably no longer fastened. To be danger-free you would possibly want to take her to the vet and performance them verify. If no longer something else they could help you set up an appointment for a spay once she's done consisting of her warmth and grant you with sturdy documents to maintain her from getting preggers.

Of course they do. All animals will go into heat. That's how mating happens...
They don't bleed as much as people though if that's what you were trying to ask.
Please get her spayed right away though. We don't want any more unwanted puppies running around than there already is!

As long as your dog is a female then yes, if she doesn't there is something wrong. If your dog is a male, he will start spraying everything!! Either way, you should think about fixing your pet.
