When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

Unless your stomach is round and hard, it's not fat, it's crap. There's a back up in your system, and you keep pushing food in and expanding your stomach, widening your small intestine, and packing your colon with food/waste. You need to fast for 7 days. Only water, juice and milk. The milk will provide protein, the juice will provide energy sugars and the water will help digest the milk and juice and help the bowels to move along, which up to this point have been moved along by the shear wieght of the new food comming down. More water is your answer. Fasting will flush out the bloat.

it is impossible to reduce abdominal fat stores through exercise. exercise does not have a localized effect on subcutaneous fat (body fat).

you have to reduce the body fat enough to see results in the midsection.

Crunches, Sit-Ups, LOL! Belly Dancing (that moves your stomack a lot...so obviously it will burn more fat there).

sit ups and rowing. But check your diet as well. if you take too much fatty food. then you want loose any fat from your body
