Ok, so in my study hall class, we were talking about wierd health occurences. Our teacher told us about how she used to work at a hospital, and a boy came in (around 6) with his parents, and while he was anatimically a boy, his insides was everything a woman would have (fallopian tube, uterus, etc etc etc) and how if they hadn't performed surgery, during puberty, he would have grown breasts, and many other woman like features. What is this medical condition called?

Hermaphrodite is the term applied to children born with sexual characteristics of both male and female genders.
It can be difficult to determine which gender characteristic is the correct / dominant and often parents are rushed to "choose" a sex to raise their child as and to consent to that gender assignment, which requires corrective surgery and hormone therapy to develop the sexual / physical traits of the gender assigned.
Recent information recommends allowing the child to "choose" their own gender assignment based on the child's desires, preferences, feminine or masculine activities and behaviors.
