I have dyed my hair a bunch of times before but I know that if I keep on doing this, my hair will be very dry and damaged. Fortunately this hasn't happened yet, but I know it will. What types of shampoo and conditioner could I use to lessen/prevent the damage?

( I dye my hair ALOT too..)
Have u ever used Infusium 23? They make a correction shampoo and conditioner that worked awesome for me. My hair was extremely damaged and it totally restored it. I forgot what its called, but its in the green bottle. Its like 4 -5 dollars each and you can pretty much get it anywhere like even walmart ha. Basically any revival formula should keep your hair from getting really damaged before it does.

Just use hot oil once a week and use a shine gloss when styling. As long as you don't dye your hair more than 4 times a month and twice per week, you should be okay. I haven't had my natural hair color since the age of 12 (now 24). My hair is awesomely healthy. Also, try to only wash it every other day - and don't wash your hair before dying. Let the natural oils stay in to protect your scalp.

I have BRIGHT dyed red hair, and have the same problem. I have to dye it every 3 weeks. I use Quantum Reds Shampoo which helps, and Biotera Conditioner for Colored Hair . . . works VERY well! You can get both at Sally Beauty Supply!
