You have to wait. That is te only way for sure. You should pick up the book breeding dogs for dummies. It will help you with all the questions to ask potential new puppy parents as well as how to care for your pregnant dam and possible complications during whelping. It helped me alot with some of the pregnant foster dogs I had. I do not recommend that anyone breed that does not know what they are doing but since it sounds as though the deed has been done I very much recomend that you read that book. Good luck to you and the pups.

After the mating count to 63 days that's when the litter may arrive. Until them it just a waiting game. There is no way to tell until about 28 days and if you really must know then you can bring the dam in to have a blood test to see if she is pregnant.

Wait 20-30 days and see if the dam shows signs of pregnancy.

You shouldn't be breeding if you have to ask questions about breeding.

Leave it to those with show quality dogs who are in it for the right reasons (betterment of the breed, not $$$).

DNA testing just like humans. PETA might be on you for taking doggie blood though.
