B&Q! i think all the ladies will be draging their men there to get all the DIY jobs done around the house that have been neglected during the footie season...
Having said that, the men i know who attend church wouldn't have taken time off to watch football matches anyway...
no offence taken,
no offence meant here either Andy xx : )

I think people will prob go shopping or the pub.

Unfortunately most people in this country aren’t that interested in religion anymore. Football itself in a way has become a religion by people supporting their teams, by wearing the tops & putting football posters on their bedroom walls.

Matthew 24:12, Because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off.

Well, not to put too fine a point on it, it would appear that most of the posters here are American and lots of sports Baseball, Golf, and NASCAR, are getting under way. Plenty to keep the Yanks busy. I.e., no change in worship attendance.

BBQ season is on here in USA and still enough to watch...Baseball, Basketball, NASCAR. However, I think the people that want to attend church do it anyways either the game is on or not. Mostly church is in the mornings.
