i just started taking accutane, have u ever taken it?
how long does it take for ur skin 2 completely clear up???

The way it works on clearing your complexion is by drying it up. Unfortunately, it can't distinguish and affects all skin, including your lips. There is no fixed length. It can be a few months. You might want to watch your diet and cut down on meat and fat to improve the healing time.

My mom used it a few years ago. Your lips chap because the accutane takes the oils out of your skin, that's how it works. I don't remember how long it took for her skin to clear up, it wasn't too long it don't seem like. Good Luck!!!

I took it , it only took about a month for things to clear up.
The reason it dries out your lips is it dries out everything,
and your skin on your lips is just thinner and more
prone to drying. Use CARMEX on your lips, it is the best
stuff! Get it at any drugstore.

It's a side effect, use chapstick or Calendula Cream on it. Also, if you use green tea bags (make sure they're cool) you can place that on your lips...they are very healing.
