Germany contributes forces to multination task forces like the NATO Imission in Afghanistan but Germany is not in a delcared war with another state. Nor does she have combat troops in Iraq.

No, Germany is not in a war, they have however troops in Germany. The country is peaceful and is quite safe to visit.

no it is not. Your friend is going to an American army base in Germany. He will be safe from all out combat. No wars in Germany since WWII 1938-1945. Start reading up on your world history.

Germany Has Troops in Afghanistan also I personally talked to some Germans in Iraq they were in civilian clothing but there body Armour had a German flag on it / they were carrying HKs they wouldn't say who they were but my guess was GS9 German special ops. Germany also has troops in more real world missions then any other country at this time. Not more troops but in more places...Update at this moment on German TV the have a special on the German Army in Afghanistan & the Congo

i think its time to throw out the 1940's newpapers. germany hasent been in a war since like WW2. there is an American Base in Germany. my cousin was sent there with his family and they said it was awsome there. all the people they met were nice

Considering their history over the past 1000 years thats hard to believe but currently they are not at war.

No, Germany is not in a full-fledged war, however, they may have a handful of troops in the Mid-East.

yea they're at war with pop music, cause all the cool bands have to tour europe because american music has gotten so pre fabricated and lame there is no rock left here, the best act i've seen in five years was unknown hinson, and he would kill in germany, and you have never heard of him cause you don't know that germany is not allowed to fund an army
