No. Just accept that other people can have different views than your own.

It's people like you, I sincerely do not understand. You don't even bother to explain your question. Listen, Christianity like any other religion in America is not
controlling us. What are you revolting against? The seperation between Church and State is blatant and if you feel the need to "revolt" against something that doesn't even control you, that's your perrogative. Also, I think I should mention that because Christianity is so prominent in the US it's provided that it will in some ways affect politics and therefore americans lives in general. But just like I aforementioned, the Christian Church holds no concrete force over you. So be quiet and think for once in your life.

You say "isn't it time"
As if there was some breaking point and you don't know what to do. To revolt against Christianity would result in a ten second news spot on CNN and you would probably be labeled as a terrorist, fanatic, or radical. Not because of your values or beliefs, but because of the act of retaliating against a religion, when there are other more non-violent approaches available.
It would be like killing your child because you didn't have an abortion on time. What I mean by this is that you could have adopted the child out, or made some other choice, but killing is a rash decision.

I AM=iam,
Hitler was raise Catholic, and even tried to enter religious orders. But as he grew older and became the driving force of National Socialism, he and some of his henchmen drifted into a modernized version of paganism, worshiping the ideal of the Ancient Aryan Race, and venerating Nordic Gods. Bunch of BS in my opinion.
Mussolini might have been nominally a Catholic, but he didn't let that get in the way of his greed for power.
You and other people attack Christianity by pointing out the evil people who claimed to be Christians, and the acts of evil performed under colour of religion. Sure they happened. And good Christians find those acts repulsive, and odious. And at the same time you blythely ignore all the good done by Christians.
Even though we Christians perform ritual cannibalism, in the Holy Eucharist, Christianity has never promoted human sacrifice as have some of the pagan religions.
The times when Christianity wielded vast temporal power are long past. The Church has no power to compel conversion, other than moral suasion, and that is as it should be. However raising a ruckus demanding the destruction of Christianity is doing nothing to foster acceptance of atheism and paganism as socially acceptable religions.
Preach that your religion is THE WAY to Heaven/Nirvana/Valhalla/Paradise/ Elysian Fields, and that Christians are doomed to the Outer Darkness/Hades/Sheol or what have you. I have no problem with that. I'm of the opinion that every person must find the road to Heaven or Hell on their own. I won't try to obstruct your path, and I expect the same courtsey from you.
Start preaching jihad/revolt/ or physical attacks against Christianity, and/or Christians, and we will come to violent confrontation.
So why don't you preach your version of THE TRUTH, and drop this revolting revolt crap.
BTW, is your screen name a claim that you are God. In Exodus, when God spoke to Moses from the burning bush, he identified himself as "I am that I am." Pretty bold to claim such a name.

What do you want to accomplish? If you think it can be abolished, your not being realistic. People will still have meetings and worship God, even if you take away the buildings, pass a law against it, etc. Christianity is not something that can be "fought"...It's an idea in peoples minds. If you mean to revolt against Christian beliefs, I guess we could start having adultery, steal, kill, and allowing people to work on Sunday.....Oh, sorry we do that...let me keep thinking.

Religion is a link to the foundations of society, in America it is a right not a responsibility. Why revolt against something that has no authorative power over you? Also Christians have a tendency to defeat their enemies.

Some Christians may be annoying, but to call them all revolting is a little too strong.

The process has already started...they've gotten a free ride for too long, trying to legislate their beliefs and act as a political force--if they want to mess around in politics, they should pay their admission like everyone else (i.e. taxes). People are starting to push back. It'll be a gradual, slow process, but slow and steady wins the race. *chuckles*
Hopefully it'll be in my lifetime that mentions of "God" will be taken off the currency and out of the pledge, Christian holidays will stop being government holidays, and so on.
Despite a fair bit of Christian whining about stuff like this and their tendency to cry persecution when these topics are brought up, it isn't--atheists, non-christians, and even many Christians just want things to be fair and equal for everyone in this country. Those hypocrites would sure be up in arms if the money said "In Allah we trust," I'm sure.
P.S. And no, before any of you morons claim this is a "Christian country" or that it was founded on "Christian principles," it wasn't. This is just some of the dishonest history revisionism the scummiest of that lot attempt to get people to believe (http://nobeliefs.com/Tripoli.htm).

Why would u need to revolt against any religion? Why can't u just believe what you do (or don't) and let others believe what they do? You know if u break religions down they're all based on the same things- a holy writing or two, holy days, sacred land, prophets/founders...

I wouldn't say revolt, but if you are atheist, jewish, buhdist, etc, you certainly want to make sure your voice is heard. The percentage of people in the US who are not Christian is growing every year. It currently stands at something like 20%. That's not an insignificant number and we shouldn't have to suffer having our point of view squashed by the militant Christians who actively expect the world to think and live like them.
