A Jewish man says, "Jesus was not God, but there is a God."

A Christian say, "Jesus is God, and there is a God."

Atheists say, "there is no God" and some say, "there is no Jesus too."

I say what part of making these statements will help you further yourself or society? If an atheist will not listen to a Christian about, then why does an atheist speak to a Christian in hopes of getting them to understand? How are Christians and Jews bettering themselves and those around them by causing meaningless quarrels? You will both be unmoved by one another so why bother?

A wise man speaks up because they have something to say, a fool speaks up because they want to say something.

Are you questioning the futility of being here...on yahoo answers? I have asked myself basically the same things.

I totally agree with your statement about the 'difference' between a 'wise man' and a 'fool' ... but there are a few of us who simply want to 'explain' things in a simple way that EVERYONE should be able to accept. I am a 'Chrisitan' (I'm a Catholic) and I don't think that everyone who is not a Catholic, or even not a Christian is 'bound to go to Hell.' In fact, I believe that since 'God is LOVING and FORGIVING' that every last one of us (yes, even the 'mass murderers' and 'baby killers') are going to go to Heaven IN THE END. I just think that some may have to 'do some time' in 'another place' (it could be called Hell, or it could be called Purgatory, or even just 'the learning place') before they get to Heaven. So ... I'll see you there! As for me, I think that I AM 'bettering the world' by coming here and answering different questions ... not just the 'religious ones' but also on anything from Pets to Math Problems ... but if you don't 'know my thing' then you don't know me ... and maybe that is a 'good thing' or maybe it's a 'bad thing' ... that depends on YOU and what YOU NEED when you come here. I trust you don't just ask your questions to START A FIGHT, because I'm sorry, that is JUST RUDE. But that's ME all over!

Interesting. However, there is a reality that is objectively true. How you view the purpose of the universe will determine how you relate to the world. Christians with a bad view of god will do just as much dammage as atheists.

The message of love is the only one worth speaking. Jesus showed (and is) perfect love and that is why I speak about Him.

who cares? apparently everyone who thinks contrarily.
how does this further myself or society? if more people think alike, there are less wars. Jews, traditionally, believed all who are not jewish will go to Hell, and were therefore isolated. Christians believe the world (society, not the earth) is corrupt and will get worse without God. Atheists think we'll be better off without religion period.

why do we argue? amusement, self-gratification, sadistic attitudes, believing we can help, believing the truth needs to be shared... there are lots of reasons.

but nothing from the devil or from mankind will shake my faith.

A very good point you make; however, I think most of us are on here because we are bored and want to argue a point--even if there is no change in the outcome.

I don't care. I only care when others belief system infringes on my right not to believe. I perfer to judge people on who they are. Not what they are.

I'm simply "drawn to the battle". It's in my nature to do so, and I cannot deny it. It's too strong.
