There is a heaven in all our hearts. A place where we don't have to run. If we open our hearts and express that light we can build heaven on earth. Where everyone is nice to each other. If we break down the walls we have built keeping us from that love, we can unite with that higher harmony.

There is an LDS (mormon) hymn called "Home Can be a Heaven on Earth"..it is very lovely and talks about how we can have a bit of heaven in our home when "we are filled with love. Warmth and kindness, charity, saftey and security, making home a part of heaven, where we want to be."
Also, I was at the temple a few months ago attending a friend's wedding... the sealer said the temple is the place where heaven and earth touch...I believe that. The temples are peaceful, wonderful houses of the Lord.

No. All the gods left the earth a long long long time ago (b4 there were ordinary ppl) and went to a new heaven. So heaven no longer is on earth, there's no possibility of that.

I know what you mean, but there are 3 Heavens.
1. Atmosphere around the Earth
2. Star System
3. Planet Heaven
Now, there is a Parallel Universe amongst (under really) ours, it is called the Kingdom of GOD.
GOD's Kingdom undergirds our Universe and make's it Possible.
When you get Born-Again, you are Translated INTO the Kingdom of GOD, where GOD's a flowing!
But, you can Experience what it is Like On Planet Heaven, in a small way, by Entering into the Kingdom while you are still on the Earth.
Complex? No.
You can feel the Presence of GOD in the Kingdom of GOD by becomning more Spiritual.
Your Soul and Body aren't in the Kingdom of GOD, and are holding you back.
Only You, a Spirit, got Translated.
We are told to RENEW our Souls (thats how you get more Spiritual) and one day our Body's will be Recreated.
Then, it can handle the Power of GOD in the Kingdom too.

Heaven or paradise is what you make it. It doesnt have to be typically green fields or tropical islands. Heaven can be relaxin in your bed at the end of a taxing day knowing you gave it your all.
So yes, I think there's "heaven" on earth. It's your own quest for Peace.

I spent a day at discovery cove in orlando florida and it was the nearest thing to what I imagine heaven would be:
swimming with dolphins
beautiful birds that ate food from your hand
beautiful flowers
everyone friendly and nice to you
fantastic food
my teenage son ( who usually did nothing but grunt) telling me that it was the best day of his life
