ONE:
PSA 145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
JER 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.
TWO:
OH 10:30 I and my Father are one.
JOH 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
THREE:
Matt 5:16 "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." (NIV)
Matt 6:3-4 "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secert. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (NIV)

Hey, Ray: As a Muslim I believe in Jesus (pbuh) as a prophet and believe that at one point bible was not corrupt... I read only to educate my self more... Knowledge is the key.
I have read the trinity, although I did not understand it and I took it to the local church where a father explained to me what it was saying. holy spirit, Father and son = Jesus (pbuh).. umm NO!
epaphras: I am not quoting out of context here. open your bible and read..

Hell, you didn't really need to go past Genesis chapters 1 vs 2, but these are good as well.
Basically- it's a very poorly written book.
You'd think if a deity were to pass down laws and history, he'd be a bit more clear about things than in this bronze age set of ancient ramblings.

Matt 6:3-4 "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secert. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward yo
That is like giving without recognition. Because if you give...expecting adoration or recognition for doing it. or for compensation later......you aren't really giving. It's more a barter then. An exchange. You are only really giving when nothing is expected in return. In regular terms you don't offer to do a favor and then expect them to do the same for you. You don't give and then figure you're better than someone who could only do a service and not give money. You don't sit at Christmas time and complain about how much money you spent and "this?" is all you got.
Intention is alot of it. That is something we really don't know because that's something we can't measure or know for sure. As they say....the road to hell is paved with good intentions. It really makes you challenge what your motives are. Honesty is a virtue....unless it's used as a club. That's like....hon..does this make my butt look big? Depends if you want to hurt them or not.. You can be tactful without being insulting and still be honest. What's your motive? What's your intention? Only you and God know that.

and you, who are a muslim, read the Bible which you believe to be corrupted, because?....
1) the police are good, and it's their job to kill those who are a threat to humanity. you hate all policemen too? God's the Judge, judging is His job. I'm sure Allah gets in a mood some times...
2) you've never heard the Trinity have you? The Father is already in Glory, and Jesus needed to enter Heaven to completely enter His Glory. so the Father was in greater splendor, hence "Greater": better off
3) the former speaks of being glad you serve Christ, the latter speaks of pride. You're not supposed to be ashamed to serve God, but don't get like the Pharisees and announce whenever you're doing a good deed. a good deed is only good when it comes from a good heart, otherwise, it is an act of vanity or self-righteousness. this is in no way a contradiction. I'm sorry you see it as one.
maybe it's because I've been saved a while, but I see no contradictions, especially when I know the lesson in those Scriptures. seriously, unless you look up some of the contradictions in the Qu'ran, such as "men may inherit raisins, not virgins", yes I heard the debate on that, I suggest you leave the instruction manual for the Christian life alone.

One: “The LORD is good to all:” His people, those who are not shall feel His wrath.
No contradiction there.
Two: Jesus was 100% God and 100% man, He and the Father are one. The Father is greater in the sense that He, in His Transcendence is greater than the than the Incarnate.
No contradiction there.
Three: Let your light shine refers to how you represent yourself as a Christian in faith. Our Lord next warned against hypocrisy and outward show in religious “duties.” What we do, must be done from an inward principle, that we may be approved of God, not that we may be praised of men.
Bingo! You are 0 for 3…

(1) In the psalm David is expressing the reward and love that is shown to those who love and praise God the Father. In Jeremiah the prophet is describing God's anger towards those who commit idolatry (i.e. worshipping something that is not God). This is not a contradiction, is a simple observation that if we reject God we will be rejected, and if we accept God we will be accepted.
(2) The mystery of the Trinity is that God is one God but in three different persons. This may sound like a paradox but there are examples of such things in nature, such as a single colour being made up a varying levels of the three primary colours red, blue, and yellow. If God is three persons in one being then it makes sense to consider the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as interacting with each other and also to consider them as one and the same being. No contradiction here.
(3) The first quote is Christ encouraging us to show love, goodness and holiness to our fellow man in order to testify to the love and goodness of God - in other words to make it clear to them why we should worship God. In the second quote Christ is warning us not to perform good deeds in front of others in order to make ourselves look better than others and thus increase our pride. The difference is in the intention, and again these verses do not contradict each other.

Father to son means they will fight each other (read the 19th chapter of Isaiah) Egyptians will fight each other but will finally come together with the Assyrians and Israel. All three and the Mormons have the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as their God. Ishmael was given the promise the same as Isaac. The Muslim and LDS Humanitarian service has teamed up to help in disasters such as Katrina, Pakastan, and Indonesia, not to brag but because it needs to be done

The apparent contradictions are due only to your very limited understanding of the Christian faith, and your even more limited understanding of the authentic scriptures.
Think about all the different ways both statements could be true, and you will answer your own question.
ONE:
God is good to all by providing life, and all of the earth to support that life.
God does not tolerate evil forever, and if people continue to offend him, they can look forward to almost certain chastisement.
TWO:
Jesus is eternally begotten of the same godly essence as his Father. Since Jesus came from the Father, who do you think is (logically) senior, in terms of reverence and respect?
THREE:
Living life as other Christs is what Jesus is referring to in the first passage.
Humbly submitting your offerings and yourself to God is what he speaks of in the second.

anyone can quote out of context and call it a contradiction. You could say that the bible says there is no god. It does you know. But in context it says "a fool in his heart says there is no god."
Your verses take things out of context.
1) The psalm declares the nature of God. His mercy is seen everywhere. That does not mean that he does not inact justice.
2) Jesus and the father and the holy spirit are one. They are also three. A husband and wife are one but are also two.
3) The first verse in mathew means that man should live his life openly so as to bring glory to god. The second verse is similar in that it says one should not do works so that they bring glory to themselves but rather to god.
No contradiction just really bad prooftexting on your part.
