I've seen instructional videos at the library but I haven't watched them myself so I can't vouch for their quality. I'm sure these people are professionals so it may be worth watching. There is also free information abound on the internet on vocal exercises and warm-ups etc. Just be sure not to strain your voice or you could do irreparable damage.

Interestingly enough, there was a video game that did just that--you were to sing into the game console's microphone and it rated how well you were on key, people who played regularly found themselves improving. I forget what it was called and whether it was XBox or PS2, but a little research ought to turn it up for you--it was out a couple of Christmases ago.
