Yes Realtors can be mortgage brokers too. However I would advise against using the the same person for both transactions.

uncertain what planet a number of those adult males think of mortgage mortgage officers artwork on, yet ninety 5% of private loan mortgage officers are cost in basic terms. the only actual exception to that's working at a telephone economic employer for a countrywide economic employer or lender (Ditech, Eloan,....). you will artwork the occasional weekend, hop in the motor vehicle to work out clientele sometimes, yet regularly that's a table interest. in case you do in contrast to working EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS, do not grow to be A REALTOR!!!!

Not sure of PA specifically, but many states allow it as long as it is fully disclosed and the borrower/buyer is aware of it.

It can be very beneficial as long as the Agent/Officer has your best interest at heart.

I am a licensed R/E Agent and Mortgage Advisor and routinely handle both aspects of the transaction for my clients to efficient and cost-effective results.

Good luck.

Legally, I have no clue. I will say if the try to do both, they aren't doing the best possible job of either. I personally would not deal with this person.
